“I had no business coming in here, but I did anyway. You never know what you might find to take home to become a part of your collection. That's exactly what I ended up doing here. I immediately went to the housewares section in hopes of finding something for my kitchen area and maybe for the living room area. I had no business doing this, but I wanted to find myself something nice. I browsed and browsed, and after some digging and treasure hunting, I found a few items that I though would suit me quite nice. Much cheaper than finding them at other area stores. I especially enjoy browsing their hidden clearance sections throughout the store. They sometimes have some pretty good items in there, just be sure that they aren't broken being repair. Made my way to pay and out to my vehicle with my new finds and happy with this diversion of a stop.”
“This location has been getting a lot better section of clothing,,more male clothing,,always find something nice,,plus there's some very nice marked down all thu the store .I wasn't looking for anything but find a few clothing items and some gorgeous pictures but to big for my place. “This place is really affordable in terms of price, but the shoe section was completely finished. They need to bring more products and more varieties.The prices at TjMaxx in Michigan are much more affordable than here. The jacket you see on the screen is half price there”
“We signed up for the painting class, but didn't know it was self guided until we go there. But then the pricing and made so much sense. I am happy it was self guided because it was a great way to get to know the other ladies at the table if you're looking for a way to meet people in DC, this might be an opportunity to do so”

“Went to this store and found clothes for myself and my son. The fitting rooms weren't open, so I had to travel to my aunt's house to try them on. Luckily, she had a store close to her and I was able to take back what didn't fit. The 2nd store had their fitting rooms open. This makes shopping easier for people who don't live in the area and can't travel back and forth just to do returns. Just give it a thought.”

“My name is Ms. Allen. First I would like to start off saying I Love Nordstrom Rack in the Lanham Store. I watch them build the store and remember when it first open up. I’ve seen this store customer service turn around for the good. I am a regular shopper and the employee are friendly and pleasant! I wanted to give a shout out to James Mann the store manager. He really turn this store around with his professional customer service I would say “ Old School “ customer service. I was disappointed when he left the store for away but also very happy for him. The store was clean, and not difficult to move around. Recently, James Mann return back to Nordstrom and so happy he did because the store was going down. He has a high standards of customer always willing to help out and just carry a nice conversation. Also, I wanted to acknowledge Ron Akihs which is a manager as well. A few weeks ago I had a return and as I was waiting in line i immediately notice a new face his amazing customer service skills, very pleasant and knowledgeable and was willing to resolve a customer issue. “There's always a deal to be found at Marshall's! This location is large and always clean and well organized. The selection is large and if there's something you need, you can probably find it here, and at a good deal too! From clothing to shoes to household goods and even snacks. Lots of seasonal and holiday items as well. I like that there are always clearance displays to go through - the best is when they have yellow tag clearance items! The kids section here is great and they have lots of toys and books as well. The lines for the registers are almost always super long but they move surprisingly fast. No complaints here!”

The variety and price points are unmatched, and there's a perfect balance of practical goods and novelty items. Great selection of plastic organization things and other home goods at cheaper-than-Amazon prices. And the owners are lovely and will go out of their way to help you find something to fit your need (i.e. when I was looking for plant ties (a stretch but you never know), I described them, and while they didn't stock them, they found balloon wire that they cut into several dozen individual pieces, free of charge. FAVORITE STORE!”

“A couple of years ago when I first started shopping here I noticed problems.I addressed those problems to corporate and the response to correct those problems was very slow.Now a couple of years later this location has new management and new employees and Im noticing changes there.Keep in mind when it comes to any business,it takes alot of effort to keep that business afloat and the employees can't do it alone.IT TAKES US(THE CUSTOMERS) ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO LIVE IN THE AREA.Why are there so many shoplifting incidents there? Is this how we treat businesses in our community? Why? Why can't we have decent CLEAN businesses in our community without some bad apples trying to run a business to the ground? If Family Dollar employees are reading this keep going on the effort to get things right to keep the right customers coming and to tell the wrong customers to go somewhere else!”
