“I like the unique prints and post cards but I wish I had got a copy of my receipt. There is this “support local business” pink sticker labeled at $3 in my bag which I know I didn’t pick. Four post cards and a sticker came up to $20ish seems about right anyways! Friendly services and clean store!”
“Great to pick up supplies for college move in. This is not my favorite discount, whole sale reselling retailers but not one to skip over either. I found some cute tops at this location and the shoe selection is quite large wrapping around the back wall and side walls throughout the store. The perfume and jewelry is decent and well protected. The home goods section is where it’s at. There is a great selection of towels, sheets, baskets, small furniture and loads of functional and decorative decor. I will be returning because it’s in a great location with lots of parking.”

This location was something to talk about. I have been dying to get in this place for years but always on a tight schedule to get elsewhere.

It's quite crowded in here. Not cluttered but crowded.
They have soooo much stuff and it's all in order.
This place could be 2-3 floors easy!!
I saw all of my fav brands at great prices. They have a huge selection of high-end wear for a great price.
They have a huge selection of summer, spring and winter wear.
The cosmetics and body care... chef's kiss!! They have everything in every color/ scent/ size!!
Cool accessories, luggage galore, etc.
I did not take a gander at the shoes as I had a show nearby to attend.
I bought 2 gorge blouses and a short sleeve loose fitting denim blue top.
I will revisit very soon for some more shopping greatness.”

“This review is for the MAC department and I’m shouting out Ms. Kori…..
My initial visit was to pay my mom Macy’s bill but at the last minute and right before closing time I wanted to get a small mini make over. Ms Kori was kind, professional, very knowledgeable and most importantly patient. She did not make me feel rushed, answered all of my questions and addressed my concerns in addition to giving me advice. I know how it feels when you’re at the end of completing your shift as time is winding down and I never felt that at all from Ms. Kori as she gave me her undivided attention.
Ms. Kori exceeded all expectations!!!!”
“For a moment, I wasn't entirely convinced this exchange actually existed. The signage is so understated that finding it feels a little like discovering a secret military side quest.
First impressions can be deceiving. When you walk in, it feels a bit sparse, and the food court isn't exactly going to make anyone forget the culinary capitals of the world. But keep moving.
The real surprise is that the exchange itself is actually well-stocked with a solid selection of merchandise and plenty of the essentials you'd expect. It's not enormous, but it does a respectable job serving the community.
And then there's the barbershop.
If you're due for a haircut, don't let the modest exterior fool you. The barbershop alone is worth the visit and may end up being the hidden gem of the entire complex.
Overall, this exchange is a classic example of not judging a book by its cover. It may not be the biggest NEX or BX you'll ever visit, but once you get inside, you'll find it has a lot more to offer than first impressions suggest.”

“08/15/2025- visited the N. East Benning Rd. store for the first time and it was amazing because they had a lot of inventory and I found the exact pants that I wanted to wear to work. I purchased them at a great price ,cashier was nice ,staff was nice , store was bright and clean. I had a wonderful shopping experience. I will be back , love it.”

“I like businesses that are available on metro. This store is on the green line. There is a decent amount of house hold items, cleaning & laundry supplies. The merchandise has changed from the "old Targets." Not as many clothing choices. I was surprised they didn't stock shopping carts on roll groceries home. They only had a laundry hamper on wheels.”

“I shop at this Walmart weekly for both personal needs and for my company, NCC, and I’ve consistently had great experiences. It’s extremely convenient to shop for food, household, medical, electronics, and clothing all in one place. While it may not be the biggest location, it’s truly a lifesaver for the DC area.
The store is always clean, organized, and welcoming. Despite common misconceptions, I’ve never experienced or witnessed any safety concerns. The environment is diverse, peaceful, and well-managed, and the staff is always friendly and helpful.
Their curbside pickup service is excellent — ordering online and having items brought directly to my car saves so much time, especially after long days. Grocery orders and deliveries are always accurate, and staff communicates clearly about substitutions.
This Walmart is extremely reliable and convenient for both my family and the clients I support. Highly recommend!”
“Idk. What checking receipts is all about. If the person has a chair. Rather a stool at the door, they would obviously be watching self checkout area.
I don't see why internally the security camera guys aren't the door security. What is it is it a today thing? The camera security room, watches the store & communicates with radios or earbuds with the door guys. But they are two separate things right? Affording security, when it makes you check receipts?
What if you have no receipt. Is it going to be like giant where alwe all feel like we're best fitted to join Giant in their socialist party-scheme???? Rifling through our backpacks.

I had a fantastic experience at MAC Cosmetics Georgetown, DC! The store is sleek, well-lit, and beautifully organized. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, helping me find the perfect shades for my skin tone. Highlights: Gorgeous product displays. Wide variety of shades. Expert, helpful staff. MAC is my favorite location to go to for lipsticks, studio effects, foundation, studio, fix, plus, and a flawless natural look. A must-visit for anyone in DC looking for professional makeup and great service!”
“The Navy Exchange at the Washington Navy Yard is always a solid stop. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful, and they have a nice selection of items for the size of the location. Overall, I’ve had good experiences shopping there.
The only downside is that the tailoring service can get pretty backed up, so if you need something altered quickly or are on a tight timeline, you may be better off checking another location, like the Navy Exchange at Fort Myer. Still, it’s a convenient and reliable option overall.”

“This review is specifically for curbside pick up ONLY. I placed an order and it was done prior to the allotted time which was awesome. Keep in mind that free parking is underground as is the curbside pickup. Due to this, I did not have any service to call/check in to notify that I had arrived. Luckily, a staff member was there delivering another order and helped me. Despite this occurring, everything happened in lightening speed, and the folk that helped me from the security guard that moved cones to Wal- Mart staff were super helpful. Also, don't be deterred by the cones, just move them out of the way. I'd definitely place an order here again.”
