Only disappointment I had was not trying to haggle more off the sales price but happy with the deals given. I was also happy they would deliver it to my new place. “This was our first time at the Capitol Heights location and it was well worth the time. They have a nice selection of furniture, rugs, lamps, artwork etc. The customer service was excellent ! Jay and Team are super polite and professional, were not pushy nor hovered over us which allowed us to take our time to see all of the well put together show case. Another plus is that the prices are negotiable which was fare and a big factor . We purchase a sofa, rug, and artwork and delighted to return and browse/buy again. Stay tuned for updated review.”

“Wonderful experience at this very friendly and knowledgeable Oriental rug source. We went in to just have a look for a rug for our living room and ended up buying two! Pricing is great and service is amazing. The owner, Abdullah has a wealth of knowledge and explains the qualities, history and craft of the different kinds of oriental rugs. His two staff members, Nazif and Zahir were very informative as well and extremely helpful. Overall a splendid experience. A must see source when investing in an oriental rug.”
“As part of our stone purchase for an outdoor kitchen project, I contacted the Capitol Heights location regarding inventory and pricing that had already been honored by other Floor & Decor stores.
My initial conversation was with Kirtley the manager, and unfortunately, it was not a positive experience at all. The manner in which the entire conversation was handled felt as though I was being given a difficult time. The discussion became unnecessarily frustrating and unproductive. By the end of the call, there was no resolution. I was given no other option... but to end the call. This is one of the locations that has the remaining stones that we need to purchase, in order to complete the kitchen project. I was furious.
The following morning, I decided to call back and speak with another manager. I was connected with Toney, and the experience could not have been more different. After listening to the situation, Toney was professional, courteous, and solution-oriented. Not only did he honor the same pricing that had been extended by the other locations, but he also offered to transfer the material to a more convenient store for pickup.
When we arrived, the team was friendly, professional, and worked together seamlessly to assist us. Mat/Simon were great. Their willingness to help completely turned the experience around.
Every organization occasionally encounters challenges, but what truly matters is how those challenges are addressed. Thanks to Toney and the Capitol Heights team, what started as a disappointing experience ended on a very positive note. We sincerely appreciate their professionalism and customer-focused approach.”

“My wife and I visited Tradition De France in June of 2025.
Raphael was courteous pleasant and helpful. He helped us purchase pieces for our dining room.
We called back months later hoping to purchase a piece we had fallen in love with. Kevin advised us that the piece had been sold.
He walked us through the process of replacing the piece. He went over pricing ,ordered the Buffet and had it delivered to our home in Richmond.
We are so impressed with their professionalism, knowledge of product and constant communication throughout the experience.

“Beautiful Couch/Excellent Customer Service
I rarely post reviews however recently we purchased and received a beautiful couch from Cantoni. Along the way there was a snag with the order. The store manager Luca and our sales agent Will did everything possible to ensure that we received the couch as originally ordered within the timeframe needed. Their efforts were far reaching and as much as any customer can hope for when resolving an issue. Today we received on time the couch we originally ordered and it has exceeded our expectations. “The husband and I visitied this store on a week night. The store is easily accessible, very clean, and has an open spacious store floor layout. It was a comfortable space to test mattresses. We parked around the corner in the supermarker lot. Mark assisted us in-store was great! He was knowledgeable about the different models, operating them, and the nuances with each. He listened to what we were looking for in a mattress and to what our lifestyle requirements were (fitting a very 'move often' Mil lifestyle). He provided options and gave honest recommendations based on that. He was also knowledgeable about our much older sleep number bed. We decided on a new mattress during our first visit; since we the mattress will likely last us a long time, we probably won't be back, but if I was in the market again, I would trust Mark at this location to help me out.”

“One of the most beautiful alleys in Washington, D.C. is steeped in history. A historic alley home to warehouses, stables, workshops, and alley homes, the alley is now Georgetown's Design District with local and national brands and a popular cafe. The cobblestone still paves the alley and many of its buildings have remnants of the past. Can you find the two horse statues on one of its buildings? It's also a great alley to plan spot as airplanes land at nearby National Airport.”
“One of my favorite store for rare finds. There is a variety from furniture to household goods, candles and even outdoor patio items. The entire shop is in an Old Town rowhome and decorated throughout. Each room has a different theme. It’s a wonderful and eclectic selection of items.”

“Love this place. Had an issue with a very expensive lamp I had and they sold me the part I needed for a few dollars and answered all of my questions about how I could quickly fix it myself. I appreciated the time they spent answering my questions even though I paid very little for the part they sold me. I see some have complained about the shop and having to drive to the store instead of being able to call. The in-store service was part of the charm for me and something we are sorely lacking in this digital age. I look forward to taking other work to them and would encourage anyone to do the same!”

“I love this HomeGoods because there's always something new to see. The staff at the Bailey's Crossroads spot is friendly and helpful whenever I'm looking for a specific find. I recently found great spring throw pillows there, but I've bought everything from rugs and coffee tables to barstools and home accessories over the years. It's definitely my default location for a reason, especially since I can always find unique knick-knacks for our home.”
