“I had a great experience at David's Shoes! I visited wanting to try a specific brand/style, and Robert not only showed me those but also many other similar models. I ended up buying a shoe that was different from what I had in mind but was better suited to my needs! Robert is very knowledgeable about each shoe that his store carries, and he was very understanding when I came in a couple more times to try different styles and sizes before making a decision.
I also of course appreciate that the shoes are marked down at least 15% less than retail, and an additional 5% off if you pay with cash. The return policy is pretty fair too: return the shoes in the box and in like-new condition, with the receipt, and you can either exchange them for a different pair of the same price or get store credit.
The store is in a pretty accessible location, 12-15min walk from the red line and 5-7min walk from the green line. Very close to the Cambridgeside mall too. We love independent shops with quality selection and service!”

“I have purchased several pairs of shoes from this store. Recently I became smitten with the Nansen, which offers a unique style and vibe sporting a slightly squared off toe box. My challenge was that I was close to an 11, but felt a little cramped. Justin was very accommodating and sent a size 12 with inserts, but my feet sloshed around in them. Then Justin came up with Plan C. He modified a Size 11, by stretching them out where I needed it. This final sale transaction was just what I needed to get a perfect fit. He also advised me on shoe polishing maintenance to keep me looking stylish. Justin a true gem, ever so thoughtful and resourceful. Thank you for working with me to overcome my impediments Justin.”

They have a fantastic staff who are always helpful when you're trying stuff out. The establishment is accessible and there are chairs to sit. No bathroom. They have a great web store, too, that ships globally. Pop in and get new kicks!”
