“Eddie and Roman from the maintenance team at Hanover Alewife are truly exceptional. Whenever we report an issue, they don’t just stop by to take a look, they make sure the problem is completely resolved. Every concern we’ve raised has been handled quickly and efficiently, and they’re always prompt and respectful of our time.
The 5 stars are especially for these two. They are a huge asset to Hanover Alewife.”
“Tim at CJL recently helped us with the sale of our family home. It was an unusual property and he did a great job of marketing it to the appropriate buyers. He worked very hard throughout the process, keeping us informed every step of the way. We were surprised at how fast things happened, but all for the best.
Tim’s professional and friendly manner made him a pleasure to work with. I would not hesitate to recommend Tim and CJL!”
“I had a great experience working with Paul as he is very accommodating as well as helpful in all areas of living on the property, from getting in touch with maintenance as well as general lease information is very clearly explained by him, and if you are thinking of moving to the building I would definitely recommend getting in touch with Paul Nguyen!”
“Just wanted to give a big shoutout to the front desk team of 303 — they’re amazing! Mustafa (and another gentleman whose name I don’t know) are always super kind, professional, and helpful.
I called a few months after moving out, and Mustafa still remembered me! He was so nice and went out of his way to help with what I needed. It honestly made my day.
It’s rare to meet people who care that much — the management is really lucky to have such great staff at the front desk!”
“I’ve had a great experience living here so far, especially thanks to Mike from the maintenance department. He’s always friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to resolve any issues.”
“Really enjoyed living here. The community is friendly and respectful. The management team has been professional and warmly supportive. Recently our bathtub drainage issue has been fully resolved. The service was timely, professional, and very much appreciated. We’re grateful for your quick response and support.”
“I went for a tour and Sam went out of his way to give us all the details and thoroughly explain everything to me and my family! He was so knowledgeable, understanding , kind and helpful !”
“Jose, Julio, and Carlos from the maintenance team have truly gone above and beyond since I moved in to help address a few issues! They have been incredibly prompt and always eager to help. Jose has made things happen quickly and is very on top of coordination. They have made my living experience so much more positive! Christopher the property manager has also been very thoughtful about helping when there was miscommunication/issues with my unit upon move in. He has really taken the time to ensure any issues were addressed and escalating when needed.
My only concern/ feedback relates to the college students in this building who are often bringing groups/friends into the facilities (infiltrating the gym with groups) and throwing parties in the rooftop area. I think management should adopt a no-students policy for the building and/or better control over their access to the building amenities, since it significantly impacts the ability of professionals to live in the building.”
“I don't usually write reviews, but Jimmy Ngu genuinely deserves one. From the moment he showed us around the building on our very first tour, he was warm, knowledgeable, and never made us feel pressured. He just made us feel at home.
Years and half later, that hasn't changed. Any time we've had a question — big or small — Jimmy has been there with a quick, helpful response. He made the lease renewal process smooth and stress-free.
Having a leasing agent who actually remembers you, cares about your experience, and goes out of their way to help is rare. If you're considering this building, know that you'll be in great hands with Jimmy.”
“10 years @Asteria and it has been an absolutely best experience! Why so long?
1. Cannot beat location with accessibility to Beacon Hill, Seaport, Charles River, Cambridge and Downtown Crossing - arguably best location in town.
2. Very safe and secure as location is right next to the mass general hospital. Always security of some sort around.
3. Amazing staff that did change over the years but overall that’s part of the reason I stayed! Heartily shoutout to Mike from maintenance, Gabby and Brandon from the leasing office. Paul the doorman was my favorite - always to detail oriented and organized!
4. Many residents stay for many years given all the positives provided above. It’s nice to have a rental building that’s not fully transient.
5. Building is mostly doctors, nurses and residents so generally very quiet.
Only two negatives: gym is very old and needs a facelift; garage is very expensive and gross, scary (drug addicts) but that’s controlled by mass general not west end apartments.”
“I couldn’t be happier with my experience at RE150 in Medford! From the moment we toured the apartment, Dana at the front desk went above and beyond. She guided us through the logistics, answered all of our questions, and has been incredibly helpful with every maintenance request since moving in. The management team, including David and Kathleen, is also fantastic—responsive, professional, and genuinely caring about residents. The apartment itself is well-maintained, comfortable, and a joy to live in. Dana and the entire team make living here an outstanding experience. Highly recommend RE150 to anyone looking for a great place to call home!”
“As someone who brings children into the Residence regularly through my Free-Range Kids program, this place holds a special spot for me. The setting is lovely, the staff is warm, and it's clear that residents are well cared for and genuinely engaged in life.
What stands out most is the spirit of community collaboration — the openness to let something meaningful happen between generations. Whether it's coloring together or reading stories, these visits matter. For the kids, it's a chance to connect with people outside their usual world. For the residents, a little spark of joy. That kind of exchange is rare, and this community makes it possible.”
“I lived here for all four years of college, and this apartment truly made my time in Boston happier. I honestly think this is the best apartment in Boston. The building is well designed and well maintained, and the location is super convenient. Everything you need for daily life is nearby, and the staff has always been friendly and responsive!
Special thanks to Marcus for helping with my move-out process and for following up on my security deposit check after move-out — I really appreciated it!
After living here for several years, I can confidently say this is the best apartment I’ve ever lived in. It made a big difference knowing the staff genuinely cares about residents, even after move-out. Highly recommend!”
“We absolutely love this place! The community is great, facilities and amenities and top notch. The management really values and care for their residents, any issue is being dealt with swiftly.”
“Matt is the best!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I truly felt compelled to take the time and write a review because of how exceptional our experience has been with Matt, the Leasing Consultant here. It’s rare to find someone in leasing who genuinely cares this much about residents’ experience.
We scheduled an apartment tour online, and Matt gave us an incredibly informative tour. He patiently answered what must have been hundreds of our questions. My husband and I can be a bit of an anxious couple with many follow-ups and double-checks, but Matt has always responded promptly, clearly, and with so much patience. He often went out of his way to make things clear and easy for us --- move-in logistics, billing details, ESA documentation, etc --- Matt truly seems to have an answer or solution for everything.
We really appreciate Matt and honestly credit him as the main reason we decided to sign here. We just moved in last week and already feel right at home.”
“I’ve had a great experience living at Riverbend on the Charles. The community is well maintained, peaceful, and in a beautiful location by the river. What really makes a difference, though, is the staff. Nicole and Rolando have both been incredibly helpful, professional, and responsive whenever I’ve needed assistance. Their friendly attitudes and excellent service make living here even better. I truly appreciate how much they care about residents and the community. Highly recommend Riverbend on the Charles to anyone looking for a great place to live!”
“I recently moved into 91 Sidney in Cambridge after relocating from the UK and had to choose my apartment virtually. I went through a lot of options, but this one stood out right away. After living here for a couple of months, I can say it was the right call. It’s been a great experience so far.
The apartment itself is bright and comfortable. It feels well laid out and was easy to settle into.
The location is hard to beat. Everything I need is within walking distance (Hmart & Target & whole foods) Central Square is right there, and it’s easy to get anywhere or into Boston. Logan Airport is about 20 mins away, which has been a big plus for my travel schedule. There’s also a dog park next door, and parking is right next door.
The building team has been great. Friendly, helpful, and easy to deal with. Sandro Galdamez from maintenance has been super helpful and took the time to show me how to use the hvac system (heat/AC), which I really appreciated.
They recently hosted an egg hunt event for the kids, and my little one had a great time. There were a ton of eggs and treats for everyone. It was well organized and thoughtful. Everyone has been welcoming, and I appreciate events that are geared toward young families.
Lee Tran played a big role in my experience from the start. He walked me through multiple facetime tours and followed up with photos and videos so I could understand the space properly. He was patient, responsive, and made the whole process feel much easier, especially moving from another country. Out of all the buildings I looked at, my experience with him stood out the most. He knows the area well and helped guide me to the right unit for me and my kid.
The only downside is parking is about $450 a month, but that’s pretty standard for Cambridge & Boston so it’s understandable.
Overall, I’m really happy here and would recommend 91 Sidney to anyone looking in the Cambridge area.”
“The prior tenant in my apartment hadn’t been removed from the system so I didn’t receive any of the move-in communications. That was very stressful because all of the communications are through email or the resident portal. Megan, the community manager, met me at the building on the morning of my move-in and got everything sorted. The apartment is wonderful and the building is great: terrific amenities and an unbelievable location. So glad I chose VIVO apartments!”
“I have been living at Market Street Apartments for three years. When I moved in I didn’t know what to expect because I never lived in an apartment complex. I soon found out it was a great place to live. It is very secure and people are extremely pleasant. Maintenance is great, they are right there when you need them. Office personal is wonderful. They are very accommodating, pleasant and very personable. I made the right choice when I moved here. Lisa and Rachel are great.”
“Not at all luxurious, but perhaps the most convenient place to live as a college student, young professional, and any other person seeking very affordable housing in a prime location of Boston (3-minute walk from a T station and a BU Bus stop, across from BU campus, nearby Newbury). If you are not built for communal living, this place will not be for you - otherwise, it is comparable to any college dorm I’ve ever lived it. Noise, breakdown of amenities (laundry room was honestly a consistent issue - I’ve had to ring my clothes out by hand on several occasions because of the faulty machines), and other similar issues are definitely present, but I found it manageable. Also there was a minor issue of some pests in the building (roaches, other bugs, occasional mouse - the common city life pest issues), but I never had an issue with pests in my personal room; as long as you keep things relatively clean in your own area, I doubt you will have any issues. Most of the residents are friendly and generous with sharing food and other things with their neighbors. Until recently, the building was almost entirely young college students or recent grads and older women. However there was a slight shift in residents around the time I left and I would be lying if I said it didn’t change the culture a bit (I left at the end of 2024). However, once again, if you are looking for a very convenient place to live (likely short-term - I lived here for about 3 years without any major/unmanageable issues), then this is absolutely a great option to consider. I am very grateful that this was an option for me for that chapter of my life.”
“This is a wonderful place. Especially we never see the service people, but the halls are clean, the gym always has all necessary disinfecting wipes that makes area always cken. This is a professional service, thank you!”
“Avalon is a fabulous place to live. Katriana Lombard-Lima and the entire Avalon team are wonderful. Katriana is the best and is very responsive and helpful whenever any issue arises.”
“In all my years of renting, this probably has been the best and most customer-friendly place I’ve rented in. To the point that I have actually re-leased with them.
Extremely customer-centric. Leasing agent Ravi has been exceptional. He, along with Residences at Malden, have gone above and beyond to help accommodate me during my rough situations regarding work and lease times.
They’re also pretty good with maintenance. I noticed a couple issues in the apartment when I moved in. I put in a couple work orders. Someone was there (within 24 hours!!) and got everything fixed.
Lovely gym, very clean public spaces. They’ve got Luxor for their packages so I’m never worried about my packages being stolen.
Location is pretty sweet because I can count to a 100 and I’ll be at the Malden center station.
Only downside: I wish there was a pool table :D”
“just recently moved into the building. Akeyla and Kristin have both been fenomenal helping me with everything as I’m from another country . The service are so helpful and fast ; get the job done right way … Great location apartment is great and clean .
I’m so happy to be here ❤️.”
“I am a new tenant at this property and we easily managed this process with very healthy and friendly communication with Caeli Bench at the leasing office. Thank you very much for the detailed service she provided to us.”
“Recently moved into a studio and could not be happier! Both buildings are well maintained and everyone is so kind. Special thanks to Matt from maintenance and Braden from the leasing office for their help with the move in process.”
“We have been working with Sun Property Group since last long time and it have been wonderful experience working with team. Their team was professional, responsive, and a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. Everything was managed seamlessly and efficiently, making the experience stress-free. I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking a dependable and trustworthy property management company.”
“I been a tenant here for four yrs and Ben treated very. I like how the management keeps up the building . the mental n. Man d o a grey job one man especial mike is always drpeedab k e. and. does an outstanding jjob
Edit 1/26/26: Hi everyone, i Duane Callender has been a tenant here for over eleven years and counting in this apartment. I've done my best to keep up with my place with the help of the management team and maintenance crew.I Recently spoke with Kaitlyn Doran the building manager and Kristina Kirby the Resident Service Manager, about my unit concerns. I asked if they could help me with getting my bedroom floor rug clean. Kaitlyn suggested replacing it with a vinyl flooring which has been done. The room has been painted too.
Thanks to the maintenance crew, who found the window (s) needs to be replaced and the window is secure for now until the window(s) can be replaced. My washer machine went dead and Kaitlyn had that replaced as well! And finally the kitchen sink was leaking and that is fixed Amen!!!
I would like to thank Kaitlyn Doran, Kristina Kirby, and the maintenance crew Gerorge, Patrick, James for their time and patients dealing with my ongoing unit concerns. Again thank you all for your time and concern in the above mentioned matter.”

“We absolutely love Phillips Park. Between our son’s soccer games, the playground, and all the open space, it has become such a special spot for our family. Always clean, well maintained, and full of great community energy. It’s one of those places that really brings families together and gives kids the freedom to run, play, and just enjoy being outside.”
“Had a wonderful experience moving in to the Royal Belmont. Raul was super helpful professional and accommodating. I’m loving living here so far and can’t wait to see what else this place has to offer.”
