“Blair was so helpful with the passport application for our daughter. We tried to do it at south Boston post office where it was an awful experience, Blair was lovely and helpful and we got it all done in a few minutes.”

“I needed to send some books media rate, but I haven’t sent packages through USPS in a while and was unfamiliar and unsure about the process. The woman behind the counter was incredibly patient and helped me out in correctly addressing my package and finding a way to print my pre-paid label (FYI, no printer here but if you have a QR code from Click-N-Ship they can scan it and print the label themselves). They were also managing the line efficiently on a Friday afternoon close to closing and kept everything moving. All the packages I sent arrived in one piece. This is hands down the best experience I have ever had at any USPS location.

Editing to add: I came again to mail another package, and the same fantastic person helped me find the most affordable shipping option and was patient while I figured out my shipping address. I had tried to mail this same thing at FedEx the day before but couldn’t because I didn’t have my ID on me— so glad, because this was $5 cheaper for a faster and more convenient experience. I love this post office.”

“The staffs are always helpful and friendly. And they remember you. It feels like a tight neighborhood post office vibe which some times can be hard to find elsewhere. Parking can be tricky though.”

The guy , named Jun (or Jin) was awesome. Super friendly , even borrowed tapes to me , instead of selling. Awesome guy.”

“The guy with the beard— I didn’t ask for his name unfortunately— was super nice and made sure to track my package as quickly as he could as I was wondering about the status and it delivered a couple of hours later!”

“Best USPS experience ever! I approach the counter with only one person before me and Rocco saw my passport photo & forms and walked me through the whole process so fast I barely had time to think, and it was done! I have never felt such support at the post office! If you are close enough, and it’s convenient to go to this location over any of the others, I would highly recommend it!”

“I had an amazing experience at the USPS on Washington Street in Brighton! As a first-time passport applicant, I was a little nervous, but Anan made the process so smooth and stress-free. He was incredibly professional, friendly, and took the time to explain everything clearly. He also takes his time and make sure the picture taken was correct and look good ?

I opted for expedited processing, and to my surprise, my passport arrived in less than two weeks! The efficiency and excellent service here are unmatched. A huge shout-out to Anan for his outstanding help—I truly appreciate it!

If you need passport services, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!”

“I feel like most of these reviews are just people who had one bad experience and went here to post about it. Nobody gives a review when everything works as it should, but in fact it does most of the time.

The post office worker was friendly. Told me everything I needed to know. I shipped my package and I was in and out in 5 minutes”

“Is crazy how customers come on Google and say how nasty the employees are. But they never tell their side of the story every time I come into this post office. I’ve watched the interactions with the clerks and the customers, and I’ve noticed that the customers always get mad when the clerks don’t give them what they ask for. I’ve noticed the clerks answer the questions, but the customers get mad when they don’t hear the answer they want. People come onto Google and say how rude the clerks are yes some days they do have attitudes. Yes some days they are the greatest workers ever and a lot of days they are under staff. No one sees that, but the clerk does. If you’ve been coming to the post office for a long period of time you know the policies and procedures of the post office. Why do you proceed to get what you want or try to get what you want and when they stop you you get mad and hostile.

As a customer, I’ve seen all kind of things happen at the post office. At this post office they always have stamps that you need. If this information you’re looking for they always have that information for you and if not, they provide you the different post office or places you can go to find that information. I know customers on here they don’t talk about the good things that the post office do they always tell the bad things that happen because of the reply they get from the question or something they used to of having.

Instead of coming onto Google and telling exactly what happened they tell you the reaction after the disagreement. Which is not right it is not right for the clerks. It is not right for the business is not right even for future customers as well. It’s OK to have negative comments. It’s OK to have positive comments but how come every time you read something that people always comment when it’s negative when it’s not their way. In life, you can never get things your way and if you feel like or because you’re the customer you are always right. You are wrong this is why they are the clerk and you are the customer. If you don’t understand something they will correct it or find someone that can help solve the problem.”

“This has been the Post Office for my PO Box since 1993. Good Ol' Astor Station and it continues to provide quality customer service consistently and even the newbies with a smile ?”

“This USPS office is perfectly adequate. I've used it many times. It is small, but the staff are hard-working and polite. If you are smart about when you visit it will not be too crowded. I'm baffled by the negative reviews. It's a post office, folks, not the Taj Mahal. If this post office is ever closed folks in South Boston will have to take the T in order to send mail.”

“Unable to deliver pkg due to gaining entry confusion, so I called local office, within minutes my package arrived. Gentleman on the phone was pleasant, driver was extremely sweet, and everything worked out very quickly. Couldn't be happy with this local USPS.”

“Some of these reviews are from people that came into the post office being absolutely ridiculous & rude.Kevon aka “The Jamaican Guy” is the most helpful employee this location has had in a while. He’s always friendly and he goes above and beyond for every customer. Anyone writing a negative review about him is simply creating a false narrative. As far as Ebony, she might be the most misunderstood employee of all. She helps everyone and tries to resolve situations before they get out of hand. The only people that discredit her are the people that have come into the office being rude and mean. These people come to this building to help out our area. We have to find better ways to deal with our anger instead of writing false reviews to bash people based off our own wrong-doings.Keep up the great work Codman! We appreciate your service !”

“Superb service! The male postmaster who helped us was very patient and gives out chill helpful vibes.
I was afraid to visit the usps stores since they all have low rating. However, this was a good, smooth experience.”
