“Rented skis boots and poles for 5 days for $115! They have good clothes and socks in stock. The workers are super relaxed but also diligent. I would definitely recommend renting here or shopping for some things, though the store is kind of small. If you need some ski pants or socks they definitely have a lot of those things.”

“I had a great experience getting running shoes here! Sophia helped me choose a pair of shoes after I did the technological evaluation scan thing, where you step on the platform and it evaluates your shoe size, pronation level, and where you put pressure on your feet. She was wonderful at listening to what I was looking for, offering options, and explaining the benefits of different brands and styles. I ended up with a pair of Asics and also running socks. If I end up needing a shoe insole, I'll come back here. I would highly recommend this Marathon Sports ?”
“Great selection of gear plus friendly and knowledgeable staff. Prices are high but appropriate for the top-of-the line equipment they sell. Tip: go at the end of a season for sale prices.Mitch was awesome! He had expert knowledge of the equipment and was friendly and easy to work with. He also had admirable patience with my intermediate skier girlfriend who had a million questions about buying equipment for the first time. Give this guy a raise!”

“This place is great! Perfect for all ages! There’s at least 15 Lanes, I don’t know exactly, I just left for the first time. I’d recommend it to anyone! Weather your age 5-15ish they have slow speed pitching machines, also baseball pitching machines that probably go at least 80-85mph. BOOK AHEAD OF TIME! You’ll be way better off booking early because it does fill up on weekends, today I went with my niece, and I booked 1 hour. It’s $50 for 1 hour. Go and have a blast!”

“TD Garden is one of the most iconic sports and concert venues in Boston, and it really delivers that big-city arena energy whether you’re there for a game or a show.
The venue itself is massive but pretty well organized, with clear signage and staff helping direct crowds efficiently. Entry can get a bit hectic right before major events, but once you’re inside, the flow moves smoothly and it’s easy to find your section or grab concessions.
The atmosphere is definitely the highlight. When it’s a Celtics or Bruins game, the crowd energy is intense in the best way. For concerts, the arena transforms well, and even upper-level seats still give a solid view of the stage thanks to the way the seating is angled. We had lodge seats for the TWICE concert, and it felt uncrowded and perfect with no obstructions.
Food and drinks are what you’d expect from a major arena: convenient but on the pricey side. There are plenty of options though, so you’re not stuck with just the basics. Lines can build up during intermissions or halftime, so timing definitely matters.
One thing TD Garden does well is accessibility. It’s directly connected to North Station, which makes getting in and out by train super easy compared to most large venues. That alone makes a big difference when the event ends and everyone is leaving at once.
Whether you’re catching a Celtics game, a Bruins matchup, or a big-name concert, it’s a venue you won't be disappointed with.”

Knowing I’d be without a jacket on a cold night if I sent it in for repairs, the team kindly offered to swap it out for me and send me on my way in a brand new jacket. They confirmed my old jacket would be donated. I’m so glad I invested in a Patagonia jacket and I’m grateful for the amazing staff at this location.”

“I don’t tend to write reviews, but I came to visit Boston for the first time in 10 years and the customer service here was phenomenal (especially with how weak it is everywhere else).
When I walked in Connor (sorry if I got his name wrong) immediately greeted me and showed me to their popular items. I went in just wanting a World Cup shirt but ended up walking out with a shirt for me and another one for my girlfriend after I got convinced. I wanted more but my bank account wouldn’t like that. Conner was super friendly and helpful, and made sure to show me different items in the store I wanted to buy, though I did wanna buy everything.
Outside of that, the store in general was easily the coolest stuff at the market. I grew up a big Boston sports fan, Bird specifically when I was a kid so to see all the cool memorabilia supporting that era truly made my day.

DANNIE, Participating in this snow activity was a very first for us especially having flown in from the Sunshine State...you didn't gatekeep, instead you poured all of your know-how into getting us up to speed gear wise. In a sea of snow experts fitted in premium, professional technical snow gear, we received an overabundance of compliments on our Columbia gear left, right and center! It was that reveal you were talking about! We were the subject of so many camera lens! We certainly looked the part, so we assumed the part and most importantly, we were so warm! “Friendly workers. Running shoes, clothing, and gear are all high quality.I give 4 instead of 5 stars for two reasons. Mainly, there is no info on the shoes on the wall display. The Boston and Brookline locations list things like the model, stack height, and drop right next to the shoe. Cambridge really needs to do this.Secondly, the 3 shoes initially brought out didn’t match my foot scan at all. It was odd. But I did find a pair of Nikes I liked and was able to order them from Nike directly in the width I need. Note that width options are limited in most running stores. So I don’t fault Marathon sports for not carrying the wide.”
