“I had a great experience at David's Shoes! I visited wanting to try a specific brand/style, and Robert not only showed me those but also many other similar models. I ended up buying a shoe that was different from what I had in mind but was better suited to my needs! Robert is very knowledgeable about each shoe that his store carries, and he was very understanding when I came in a couple more times to try different styles and sizes before making a decision.
I also of course appreciate that the shoes are marked down at least 15% less than retail, and an additional 5% off if you pay with cash. The return policy is pretty fair too: return the shoes in the box and in like-new condition, with the receipt, and you can either exchange them for a different pair of the same price or get store credit.
The store is in a pretty accessible location, 12-15min walk from the red line and 5-7min walk from the green line. Very close to the Cambridgeside mall too. We love independent shops with quality selection and service!”

“I have purchased several pairs of shoes from this store. Recently I became smitten with the Nansen, which offers a unique style and vibe sporting a slightly squared off toe box. My challenge was that I was close to an 11, but felt a little cramped. Justin was very accommodating and sent a size 12 with inserts, but my feet sloshed around in them. Then Justin came up with Plan C. He modified a Size 11, by stretching them out where I needed it. This final sale transaction was just what I needed to get a perfect fit. DANNIE, Participating in this snow activity was a very first for us especially having flown in from the Sunshine State...you didn't gatekeep, instead you poured all of your know-how into getting us up to speed gear wise. In a sea of snow experts fitted in premium, professional technical snow gear, we received an overabundance of compliments on our Columbia gear left, right and center! It was that reveal you were talking about! We were the subject of so many camera lens! We certainly looked the part, so we assumed the part and most importantly, we were so warm! Between the cold, the extreme sport and the mountain height, I'm not sure which had me most afraid! It least you were able to solve for one of my biggest fears! LOL

“Re-doing my first review, now that I have more time. OMG, I love Cordani shoes. As in absolutely adore. I'm not sure how I heard about the brand, but I am thrilled I did. The shoes are cute, comfortable, Italian-made, and high-quality. I must have at least 7 or 8 pairs now. The retail outlet is next to their offices, and opened limited hours on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Prices at the outlet are extremely reasonable for such great shoes. Cordani has huge warehouse sales twice a year (June and December),which are super popular. You can usually meet at least one of the owners then, and they are both super friendly. However, if you unfortunately cannot visit Massachusetts, you can buy Cordani at Zappos, Nordstrom, or various shoe boutiques. I'm a Cordani fan for life.”
