The Wizard Of Pawz
1053 Belmont St, WatertownIt looks they closed their business, because I have called them a few days in a row and no one answered. But they were good at cutting my doodle’s hair.

Pet Care

Specialty at PetMedic | Veterinary Dermatology
347 Main St, WatertownI took my dog to PetMedic Urgent care for an infected anal gland that had burst. They were pretty good. Just did a basic exam and gave me antibiotics and pain meds for the dog. It wasn't cheap, but not outrageous either -- $260 for everything -- but I thought they did a good job, so my dog quickly, so I was happy with that.

Jana Grill
2 Watertown St, WatertownI absolutely loved this place. I’ve missed food from home and this food definitely hit home. Loved the tolmas, could have eaten 5 portions of those. The pelmenis tasted like my mom’s and they were served with the sour cream! Bonus points that they are offering pomegranate wine. I couldn’t have it this time around but I have been looking for it (around NY). Definitely recommend this place!

Red Lentil Vegetarian & Vegan Restaurant - Watertown
600 Mt Auburn St, WatertownWe had a meal here the night before a 5k, which felt like a good, healthier, choice. The smoothie and juice menu was a surprise. I ended up enjoying an orange carrot juice (asked to hold ginger and cayenne). Started with the red lentil soup- which I'd say is a must, with some nice Iggy's bread for dunking. Also had a really tasty shepard's pie- the sweet potatoes were a surprising and welcome addition to the classic recipe! The presentation was quite creative- with how the balsamic and pesto poured over the cashew gravy formed a stripe-y of pattern. My partner had a green juice which he wished were a little sweeter, and the paella. Large portions and very filling- we couldn't finish, and brought home leftovers. The desserts are all vegan. The vibe inside is mellow, and the waiters and waitresses are very attentive.

Condesa
80 Arsenal Yards Blvd, WatertownVisited Condensa Mexican Restaurant in the old Arsenal Mall area. Beautiful place. Really impressive transformation. The restaurant looks great; clean, stylish, with great Spanish music and energy inside. The food was excellent. We ordered two potatoes and chorizo dishes, and my son had a cheeseburger. For dessert, we had banana bread and tres leches. Everything was flavorful and well prepared. The potatoes and chorizo were delicious, but it felt like something was missing. Maybe the portion could be a bit bigger. Adding an extra egg, some avocado slices, and a little cheese would easily take it to the next level. The burger and fries were fantastic. My son loved it. Dessert was great. The banana bread threw my wife off a little because she expected something more like a banana loaf, but it still tasted very good. Our server was helpful and very nice. This visit was for brunch, and it was a good experience overall. I'll definitely come back to try the regular menu next time. Beautiful spot, great food.
