“Thank god for Carmen. We were having difficulty with our mortgage and the new companies MVCU merged with. Managers at other branches were dismissive or did not put effort into fixing the issue. Carmen put in so much time and effort to fix the issue and responded quickly whenever we needed her. She is passionate about helping the customers and actually cares. Our experience with her has restored our faith in MVCU.”
“I purchased a home in October 2023 when mortgage rates were sky-high. From all the mortgage rate quotes I received, Metro Credit Union had one of the best mortgage interests, by a decent margin too. David Varno was our assigned mortgage specialist and he was superb in guiding me through the process. He was communicative, easy to reach and pro-active in getting all the paperwork and ducks in order for the underwriter to sign. Overall, while I feel like the process took a bit longer than I was expecting (due to my complicated financial background), I still recommend this credit union for the competitive rates.”

“If I could give 10 stars I would. I've never experienced such outstanding customer service from a bank! I had been with HCFU for my car loan and contacted them for the PPP loan. Almost immediately after I inquired through their online form, Phil called me to follow up- on a Saturday! He laid out all the following steps and answered all my questions and concerns clearly and with confidence. Phil responded to every outreach in a timely manner, and made it as easy as possible the whole way though. He connected me with Alberto at the Bedford location who set me up with a new account- also on a Saturday! The whole experience was easy, friendly, and absolutely instrumental in enabling me to carry on business operations through COVID-19. I have a number of accounts through 5 other banks- none of them has ever been this easy to work with, let alone able to facilitate the PPP loan so quickly.”
“The money management app and perks are really cool!The app takes too long to log into, and the services there fail a lot. They need to work on their IT side and investing there.Not 5 stars because I recently got off the phone and the person was rude. She hung up without asking if I needed anything else, or at least a goodbye. She sounded annoyed through the process of understanding how to apply for a personal loan.These are fundamental, customer service routines. So everyone else giving MITFCU the 1 star for rudeness, I wholly sympathize with them. I will update this review over time as I continue being a member, ESPECIALLY if I continue experiencing rude, customer-UNFRIENDLY behavior. Each encounter is 1 star off.”

If only Metro Credit Union had gotten feedback from this young man before rolling out their horrible new voicemail system a while ago! (It's cumbersome and counter-intuitive, impractical, and not user-friendly at all. I give the new voicemail system no stars...)Anyway, Mav is fantastic, and I congratulate MCU for hiring him., an excellent decision.”
