If you’re looking for some work out clothes and/or items to support Winthrop athletics, support the local businesses.”

“I had a really positive experience shopping at this location for sneakers. I was helped by Bella. I didn't feel any pressure to buy something or rushed (which I experience at other Marathon Sports locations). Bella was really supportive and easy going. The environment wasn't hectic or distracting (like other locations). I'm really happy with the Saucony sneakers I bought, and I tried on a couple other pairs for the first time that I'm now interested in. I have been to multiple Marathon Sports locations (Wellesley, Lexington, Boston), and Cambridge is not the most convenient for me, but I will definitely return to the Cambridge location in the future when I want to try on sneakers in store. I'm glad I made the trip.”

“Was in town for a show in downtown Boston, and my boys and I had some extra time the day after, so we wanted to hit some local card shops. Not only is his selection better than the surrounding area, but the owner was one of the nicest gentlemen I’ve ever met. The store is very relaxed and everyone one of us left with something special to bring back home. Please give this store some love. I wish I could be a regular, but I will be back.”

She brought out a variety of different sneakers and sizes for me, and was so patient during my indecisiveness. “We love this place! The team members who work there are great; they always give good advice and give us several options to choose from. They are patient and attentive to their customers. You can choose new or used equipment and sports gear/ items. We also use the “trade in” option when you bring your kids used items (should be clean and in good condition) and they give you a store credit which you can apply towards the same day purchase (same day transaction only). We LOVE this store! This is the place to go for us for baseball equipment, soccer and baseball cleats, ski equipment every winter season (as kids grow fast!). Your loyal customer:-)”

“Extremely satisfied with the customer service here. Associates have been helpful and knowledgeable about their products. I went in to drop off my coat which had a zipper which had gone bad. I was told over the phone they would need to send it to get fixed which would take 8 to 10 weeks but when I went in they swapped the coat out for a new one. I was asked if I had an extra jacket, I said yes but not one I liked much. So thankful to have a new jacket for the rest of the season.”

“I ordered the Nike MaxFly spikes from Heartbreak Hill for my son when Nike was completely out of stock and other online running stores had sketchy online reviews. The customer service is top-notch - even though I placed the order late at night on Cyber Monday, the spikes arrived by Wednesday evening!! He got exactly what he wanted when we thought we wouldn't be able to find these anywhere in his size/desired color. We are so happy with the purchase. I will definitely keep them in mind for any future needs. HIGHLY recommend!!!!”
