“The Swap Meet is possibly the best vintage video game store I've ever been to (and I've been to several). Every shelf and case was packed with games, systems, and collectibles spanning every generation. They've got games for basically everything, even the obscure stuff, and all the prices I saw seemed reasonable. The owner Jay is fantastic, super friendly and helpful. He understands the hobby extremely well and I had a great time chatting with him. If you're a retro gaming enthusiast, The Swap Meet is the real deal and it's not gonna let you down. “Best 7-Eleven in East Lansing, no doubt. I judge 7-Elevens based mostly on slurpee quality and this 7-Eleven almost always hits the mark, a miss is rare. They have the nice newer machines & a great flavor selection. The store has a great selection of snacks and drinks as well. The staff has always been solid, I'm sure they deal with a lot being so close to campus. The stores hours are also really extensive, it's typically open most hours of the day. Highly recommend this spot!”

“I went for a passport photo. Didn’t know what to expect but the lady put me at ease with humor right away. She clearly does this a lot and walked me right through it. Lots of customers that day, so I got the final product after about 10 minutes. However, the earthiness and humor of the lady saved the day. Still smiling. I would go back.”

“Stopped into the St. John MI store to check on a phone concern and possibly an update to my phone. Was told by the Manager and a counter girl that they didn't carry any Android phones in the store, only IPhones. They gave me a website to check out for an Android replacement phone. Told me to bring the phone in WHEN I got it, and they would set it up if I couldn't. WTH? So what a relief to go to another location and not getting blown off because I didn't want an IPhone. Joe and Jade were great to work with and got me into a new Android phone I felt comfortable with. I didn't even have to go online to a website to find a new phone! They had them right it stock! Purchased a new Galaxy S23 FE and so far very happy with it. Thank you T Mobile St. Johns for making a bad situation a win!”

“Absolute saints....all of them!! Way too long of a story for a review, but long story short I left a work power cord in Florida. Landed in Detroit. Arrived to Lansing at 7:58. Got to the store at 8:00 which is when they closed . They were literally shutting off the open sign when I walked up to the doors. I explained what was going on and they stayed open and were able to help me get a charger and saved my life.”

“Solid store. They have a huge selection of beef jerky (every kind) and a wide variety of wine and beer. You can be in and out under 1 minute because they are the only store that provides free parking.”

“I love checking out Disc Traders when I have the time. Most of the movies and games are reasonably priced and they have a selection of electronic odds and ends that changes regularly. Most of the workers are seemingly hired for their customer service skills and not their knowledge of systems, games, or movies. But they're always able to look up information in their system. Don't expect a lot of money for trade-ins, maybe 30% or less compared with what they sell similar items for. Also, some of the movies are getting old (some DVDs are turning 30 years old this decade). So check for warping, discoloration, and scratches if you plan on picking up some. But, the Blu-Rays I've gotten from them have been stellar thus far.”

We went in store today and everyone, from start to finish, was amazing and helpful!
