“It's a post office. It's not therapy. It's not a doctors office. It's a place to mail letters and packages. Sometimes things break, like scales and stamp machines. People break things, no surprise. Later, they get fixed. Again, it is a post office and I mail things and get receipts and the system is still working. Is everyone friendly all the time? You can answer that yourself. Control your reaction and move on through your day. Reading the reviews SMH.”

“I went here today to get my daughter's passport. We had an appointment at 2:15 and we were out the door by 2:35. I was super impressed! The employee that helped us was BUSY - helping us and another person who was also there for a passport and several other customers just coming in to mail packages.I noticed several negative reviews of people complaining about the employees being rude when they came in to get their passports and my suggestion would be to make sure you read everything you need to do BEFORE you go.You have to pay by check, bring all the required documentation and it's also suggested you complete and print the application BEFORE you get there. When you do the things they suggest, it's a smooth process. Also, I am sure the employees there deal with a lot of grumpy people. Try giving them the benefit of the doubt and be respectful.”

“I've been coming here on and off since I started my job that's about a mile from this post office. We use it a lot because we send stuff out certified and use a few other services like other human beings that go to the post office. For starters, the place is almost always clean and well stocked. It's not the biggest or baddest post office, but this one seems to have it together, considering what it is. The lines are never terribly long and the ladies here that wait on me are quick and efficient. Recently, they had their drive up mail box replaced. It was rusty and in terrible shape. I hated using it, and am glad to see a new one on the curb. There is a parking lot here, but its tight and your better off parking on the curb. Making a left out of here can be downright dangerous at times because the stoplight is always on blinking red and the cars parked on the street block your view of people coming at you. There is a few downsides to this place but I will only discuss the one big one that has only caused me grief once. They do not accept packages here for whatever reason, and send you to the main post office off Fenkel. I have no idea why this is. I've seen a few patrons get a little crazy over it and it wasn't pretty. I've only been to the Fenkel location once, and it's a super nice updated facility, about 3 miles away. Overall, it's an alright place and the staff is super friendly and nice. Will continue to return here as long as I work on this side of town.”

“Very professional. I was greeted by a friendly employee who took the time to show me how to work the systems. She then helped me work through my designs and pictures to formulate my store’s ad. Would highly recommend to anyone who prefers professionalism.”

“My wife and I needed new passports and photos. Christy was wonderful - very informative, helpful, organized, and most of all happy and positive. Filling out the forms at home and ensuring you bring everything you need to handle passports can be stressful, but Christy made it a great experience. Thanks again!”

“I love my Postal workers because they do the best they can with what they have to work with. Its hard to run a race when you have been knee capped by a Post master whose goal is to disrupt the flow of mail for political purposes. The Post office is the oldest government agency its been around since the 1800's.The postal workers at Walled lake do their jobs and do their best to carry on the proud tradition of our post offices. "THE MAIL MUST GO THRU"! Thank you all for your service.”

“The four stars are for the hard working mail carrier. Today, she said to me that someone called and complained about my package that required a signature. No big deal right? I would never call and complain about something that isn't her fault. I just have to tell you that neither my husband or I called.”

“TOM, who works at this location is AMAZING.I have had a multiple interactions with him and he is always helpful, kind, funny, and will do anything within his power to make your transactions smooth. I have had positive interactions with other workers at this location as well despite the fact that they are usually understaffed when I go there. Tom and other postal workers do the best they can even when they have a long line and they do so with a kind, and helpful approach. THANK YOU!”

“This post office is the best. I refuse to go to other office now based on how kind and professional and knowledgeable these employees are. They helped me out with a weird mailing situation and weren’t pushy or rude. Both clerks were amazing. Thank you Northville P.O.!”

“I've always had a good experience at this post office, meaning the inside front counter. Today it was super busy and only 2 employees working the counter. One had to step away but announced she would hurry back...and she did. Both were friendly and welcoming and worked to bring the line down as quickly as possible. Other locations should take training from this one.”

“Great customer service, but be very careful driving up the driveway just to get in the parking lot. The driveway just messed up my bumper. Best to park on the street if you don't have a truck, so you won't take a chance in ruining your vehicle.”

“I've been selling things on ebay and shipping them here for a few years now. The employees here work efficiently, and have always shipped my stuff out on time. I have never had a package lost, however i have had a couple incidents where the USPS damaged my package (not this post office's fault) but i can forgive these accidents since filing an insurance claim is very straight forward with the USPS. (My experience with insurance claims with other companies like the UPS were an absolute nightmare). Some people may confuse the efficiency at this post office with rushing. However in my experience, if you just take the time to ask questions, the employees will always help guide you in the right direction so your visits in the future go more smoothly. This post office also provides free USPS Priority boxes on the side (free to take home, not to ship), however don't expect a vast variety of sizes. I personally prefer getting free boxes at GFS which is just a few minutes away, and getting my bubble wrap and packaging tape from Home Depot for cheaper.”

“Great service every time I’ve needed their service they work long and hard at this post office they could use more help but I’ve only waited awhile when there were only 2 clerks working one on a passport and the other on a large package mailing. The . Clerks are always pleasant here.”

“Nathan was great and very helpful! The line was long but he didn't rush me. He helped me pack my box and he even suggested another way to ship my package through the post office that was affordable then what I was planning on doing. He was wearing a mask , but he was still caring. It's hard sometimes with masks to tell how the other person is feeling. The post office is always clean and organized when I visit. The rest of the staff are also nice and polite.”
