“This is by far the best auto parts store around. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and always gives you the best prices around. He gives excellent instructions that are very easy to apply to any range of repairs or improvements to your car. He has multiple times even come out into the parking lot as long as he didn't have another customer to deal with and help me work on my car right there outside of his store. I cannot say enough good things about this store or the owner, and it is always nice to support a local small business with genuine customer service.”

“I've been taking both of my cars—a Chevy and a Honda—to this shop for a while now, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. The team here is incredibly friendly and easy to talk to, which makes the whole experience stress-free. What really stands out is how fair they are with their pricing. They’ve never tried to upsell me or push unnecessary work. Everything is explained clearly, and I always feel like I'm getting honest, reliable service. On top of that, the quality of their work is outstanding. The repairs and maintenance they’ve done have held up really well over time. It’s great to have a mechanic I can trust to do the job right the first time. Highly recommend them if you're looking for skilled, trustworthy, and down-to-earth professionals to take care of your vehicle!”

“I stopped at Uncle Ed’s in Livonia , spontaneously, as I had been procrastinating having the oil changed on my Jeep Wrangler. I was pleasantly surprised by the outstanding customer service that was provided to me . I also had the air filters changed out as they were filthy upon inspection. I left feeling very confident about the maintenance on my Jeep for an affordable price . The young man in the bay was very knowledgeable and informative!! Highly recommend this place of business !”

“This is now my second time going here and they have been excellent. They are reasonably priced, fast, and efficient. They really do value your time and as an added bonus, they have guest WiFi for when you're waiting. It's very easy to book an appointment online and I would also like to point out that Trevor was the one who helped me at the desk and was the one who worked on my car. He does an excellent job as both a mechanic and at customer service. This will now be my new go to place.”

“Mike was a ton of help. Took care of all my issues and the car is running great. I highly recommend anyone in need of high quality service to choose this place. The customer service was top notch and the repairs were the same. If I could give a higher review I would.”

“Honest, and extremely transparent with what issues exist, what’s immediate, what’s not. They send you a full description with photos and videos so you can see with your own eyes as well. They’ve been so kind I cannot thank them enough for the multiple times they’ve helped me with my car repairs. Unfortunately this time it was a matter of value of car/amount of repairs but even then they were very honest with me on whether it was worth putting money into the repairs or not. I hope not to need them in the near future with my new vehicle, but happy to know they’re there if I do and to anyone else considering - yes, use them they are great!”

“We brought a used vehicle in for a pre-purchase inspection and we paid a very reasonable price for a very thorough inspection! He finished his inspection fairly quickly and told us all of the issues he noticed. He even mentioned some parts under the hood that he knew may have issues over time for us to keep in mind. It really helped us make an informed decision about our car purchase. He was also very kind and straightforward with his information. Next time I have an issue with a vehicle I will definitely try out their repair services!”

“I had my brakes repaired at Livonia Auto Center and couldn’t be happier with the service. From the start, the staff was upfront and honest about what needed to be done, explained everything clearly, and gave me a fair estimate. They didn’t try to upsell unnecessary work, which I really appreciated. The repair itself was done quickly, and my car now drives smoothly and feels safe again. You can tell they take pride in their work and value their customers. The whole experience was stress-free, and I left feeling confident about the job they did. “Gary is the first person we have ever gone to and truly trusted that he cares about us and our vehicles! He is fair and works quickly. Gary will tell you if you need to fix something or if it can wait. He is kind and so incredibly helpful. My mom called in to ask him a question and he took the time to explain everything and she wasn't even a customer at the time. We have been to many places, and we will not take our vehicles anywhere else now. Great place, great guy! Thanks Gary!!! Let Livonia know that Darby's is the best place to go!”
