“This is one of the best and most professional auto shops I’ve ever been to. From my first visit, I met Alex, who provided excellent customer service and was very professional. He recommended that I come back on Monday since I initially came in on a Friday.
When I returned Monday, Alex was out of town, but Ali took great care of me. He had my car in and out within two days for a turbo replacement, and now my car is running and driving excellent!

“I was heading from Farmington to downriver. That brought me driving across Eight Mile Rd., when suddenly my dashboard lit up with warning lights. There are a lot of shops on Eight Mile Rd. and I wasn’t familiar with any of them. I decided I needed to pull off the road and take a look, thinking I may ned to call AAA. After “popping the hood” I saw the problem; the belt around the alternator-warmer pump was missing. It’s a 1999 Mazda Miata. I guess it should be expected. But it was a real problem, and I’m in an unfamiliar area that I had only driven through for many years.
My story could have gone either way, I’m happy to say it turned out much better than I expected.I could have been taken advantage of, but I think I stumbled into an honest, ethical and knowledgeable auto repair center. While I was in their parking lot, staring at my broken engine, the shop manager came out to greet me. Pleasant and understanding of my situation. It didn’t take long for him to assess my situation. I told him I was thinking of having AAA to it to a shop in Farmington that I was familiar with, his response was “ it was a relatively simple problem to fix. The alternator and water pump were not locked up. After they get a new belt, he could get me back on the road within a couple hours.” And they did!!
While I waited patiently in there lobby I was able to observe this business in action. The owner (of 25 years) was working on sight at the front desk answering his phone and interacting with his customers as they came and went. Right next to him was his well trained shop manager. This is the way a small business used to be run and should be run. I’m retired from running my own small business for 28 years and I know what to listen for.
It turned out, just like like they promised, in fact a little better. The car was repaired, belt and all in about an hour and forty-five minutes. While doing the repair the mechanic noticed a cracked hose. He trimmed off the bad end, reconnected it and fixed an intermittent check engine light, no extra charge. That is a well trained, well run shop. A business run the way a business should be run.
The cost? I didn’t shop around before going there. I don’t know if it was higher or lower than other shops in the area, but I do know when I was driving home, I knew it was a fair price. That is how the owner runs his business.
If you are reading this, you might be debating where you can bring your car, get a good diagnosis of your problem, and get it fixed at a fair price. I highly recommend the team at Advanced Auto Center.”
“Technicians arrived an hour early. I hadn’t made home from work, rather than have them wait, I told the technician where the vehicle was and had my brother bring him the keys. And boom bam 💥 they got started didn’t take hours. Thumbs 👍🏾 to both technicians working together to get the job done fast and efficiently Love it 😊. “What a great experience I had with the crew at High Voltage Cycles! I just bought a Honda Super Cub 125 in Detroit this past Tuesday that I was going to ride to Boston, but it was due for the break-in oil change and I didn't want to ride 800 miles with the metal shavings in the oil. I called and they not only fit me in right away so I could hit the road, they were fantastic at voluntarily doing a once-over to check my tire pressure, adjust the chain, and ensure I was in great shape for my road trip! Add a cute but feisty cat and a fun sense of humor to the mix and I'm a fan for life (and will of course be back if I'm back in the area)!”

“Just came in today after getting 2 new(used) tires from a tire shop to see if anything else was wrong and with no charge at all Joe got me in checked it out was willing to do a balance for me until we all realized it was a bad tire. “I've been taking my cars here for the past 2 years and Marty and the team always do such a great job at taking care of any issue I've had. They've spent literally a week diagnosing my car in the past which seemed to have a transmission issue but turned out to be a loose grounding wire and didn't charge me an insane price for taking awhile to diagnose a weird issue. They also take great care when doing smaller things like oil changes and don't try to upcharge you on things you don't need. These guys deserve everyone's service and I can't recommend them enough”
