“Patrice & Kim exemplified amazing customer service. Came into the store with 4 items that I needed to ship. They suggested different products than the ones I was intending to purchase. This resulted in more efficient shipping and even saved me a bit of money. Instead of sending multiple individual items to the same address, I was able to bundle some packages and send them faster and cheaper.
While I was in store, there were customers coming to send packages, purchase money orders, and even some with passport appointments. These ladies were extremely kind. They exercised patience when customers had different issues and took their time to explain the solution.
This visit made today’s errand much smoother. Thanks again, ladies! I will definitely use this post office again in the future.”

“I have come here at least once a week for the last 4 years and have nothing but great things to say about this USPS branch. The ladies at USPS Berkley are amazing. They are always super friendly and helpful! There are sometimes long lines if you can't do the self service drop off but that is to be expected with any post office and not anyone's fault. The parking lot is easy to get in and out of. I've sent hundreds of packages over the years and never had a problem. They are always good about doing the initial scan for the package so I can be sure the package is shipped and in good hands. 5 stars!”

I walked in with a package to ship. I didn't have a box, tape or anything except a shipping label QR code. There was 1 person at the window and 2 working in the back. They got me a box and everything I needed with no attitude.
Since I was unprepared, I had to get in line 3 different times. Still went fast and smooth. However, there were some impatient customers who had attitudes.”

I waited until well after post office hours and couldn't believe it when the manager himself knocked on my door to deliver the package. Extremely grateful to the staff and the manager Eric.”

“I can't speak for everyone else, but my 14 envelopes of paperwork was received by the company very fast. Mailed everything 2 months ago, and called them 2 days ago about the paperwork. The young black woman that was at the front was very nice, kind, and assisted me very well with no problem at all. Now, last year I did come to this same post office to mail in paperwork and the company was never receiving anything and not sure why. But, I've also experienced this situation at other different locations in Detroit/Michigan period!! I've decided to give this location another shot, and everything did workout well with no complaints.”

“I've been dropping packages off here for the last couple weeks on my way to work, and they are always as fast as they can be, and I feel like they care a lot about the customer's time being valuable. If there's ever a line, it's been someone coming in and not understanding how to do something, or just having a big order (so that's out of the post office's control on timing) but I can still feel the ladies working with a sense of urgency to get to the next guest. They're always matter-of-fact here and haven't treated me like I'm stupid (I don't know how shipping things works, or at least, I didn't at first - I'm better now), and have gotten my packages their printed labels and scanned in just as fast. They also tend to pay attention to the packages I send having custom writing on one side, and make sure to put the shipping label on the other side, so nothing is covered up :)
This location is very easy to get to as well, at the end of a dead end, so there's almost no traffic to worry about when coming or going except other post office errand folks. The parking lot is large, but the lobby is small. The double doors before entering make a VERY warm / humid entryway, so be warned if you are sensitive to that especially in the summer time; otherwise the building is set up like a normal post office inside! Both doors have push buttons to operate, and the interior doors are always propped open when I've gone, so this is a fairly accessible location I believe (though the entryway vestibule portion is very small and may pose a bit of maneuvering to get a powerchair through with the door swinging clearance).
