Harvest Time Farm Market
1125 S Lapeer Rd, OxfordI’ve been coming to harvest time for about two years now and I truly love it here. I love everything about it. I just wanted to say how incredible I think the staff is, they are so kind, passionate and welcoming. Most of them seem young, like high schoolers, so I just love how helpful and outgoing they are. I feel like that is rare today so I hope the owner knows how truly blessed they are for the staff they have! ❤️

Pet Supplies Plus Oxford
971 S Lapeer Rd, OxfordI’ve been going here for years and always had a great experience here. There have been quite a few new hires recently and today one of those new hires was nice enough for me to write a review.
Edmund the cashier was very kind and helpful with everything today. We had a large order that was separated between two people and even though I’m pretty sure we confused him her recovered fast and had everything sorted out very fast. Even putting our cart away for us.

Dr. Stephen Steep
6 Lincoln St, OxfordOxford Veterinary Hospital saw my 2 year old Papillon after being rescued from Detroit . They were very thorough in checking her out. They were very good with a timid, shy dog. After treating her ear infections and kennel cough they went over other symptoms to watch out for and addressed all of my concerns. You can tell when someone really cares about Animals. Thank You

Pet Sitting & Training

Oxford Canine Club
845 S Lapeer Rd, OxfordOur little 35 pound chocolate Lab Keely was viciously attacked by multiple dogs on Friday, 12/6/24. We live in Chesterfield and while my husband, myself and my son were frantically calling any vet hospital close to us because we knew it was a serious situation, we also knew we didn’t know how we were going to pay for it. I was just approved for disability two months ago but only get $860 monthly because I only worked 10 years, but my husband fell off of our roof two years ago and is going on his third surgery and has been unable to work as well. That is absolutely the least of what we’ve gone through since we moved to Michigan four years ago, so when we were getting estimates of $2000 minimum, roughly just the emergency services, doc fees, anesthesia and up to 50 stitches, we knew our options were limited. We literally have been living pretty much day-to-day over the past 18 months so when this happened we thought we were gonna have to just put her down because we couldn’t even pay our mortgage, much less a bill of minimum $2000. We called and called every place listed while already on the road praying our Kiki would hang on. Being led to the Animal Wellness and Medical Center of Oxford was literally a miracle. We live 40 minutes away from their hospital and over the phone were given an estimate of roughly $500 and while we knew that was something we could reach or even borrow if we had to, the race was on. We legitimately knew the bill may be higher but at least if we had to borrow, we knew the other estimates being more than 50% higher, although much closer, we just wouldn’t be able to afford. We got our girl there at around 1pm and picked her up just before 8pm, closing time. I had already expected the doctor, nurses and even staff to be judgmental because how could anyone let their dog get attacked to the extent Kiki was attacked? I told you earlier that we were living day-to-day and if you knew every financial thing that has happened to us since we’ve been here, (including over $150,000 of septic/well issues our realtor left us with, since she didn’t have an inspection, although it was a law and was completely missed by 4 services, including our FHA loan) you’d literally not believe us. I wanted to say all that because if I could describe in words how much negativity did NOT happen from the moment we walked through the doors at that hospital and how non-judgmental every single staff member was, not just to us but to our situation, I only hope my review makes you use this place every single time you need a vet for your fur babies. I personally met Dr. A.J. Seamon upon picking up our Keely and the kindness, compassion, EXTREME gentleness and respect he showed to us completely melted my heart and put our family at 100% ease. He introduced us to what I remember as his assistant but I’ve asked my husband and son, and none of us can remember her name, although Emily sounds familiar but she was just as respectful, kind, compassionate and caring as Dr. Seamon and not once did we feel like we were terrible pet parents. Dr. Seamon listened to me tell him how bad we felt and a bit about our story. As I became emotional, I could see the compassion in his eyes. He helped us so much by eliminating most or all of his fees and while I don’t know if he wanted me to share that, I felt I should because it shows how much he truly cares. I’m tearing up again as I type this review. To end, our Keely ended up needing so many stitches and when Dr. Seamon went in to do surgery, he told us that both of her jugulars were completely exposed and that he had never seen anything like that. He said he had to remove muscle from elsewhere on her just to wrap around the jugulars, as they were completely stripped. That man went above and beyond some thing he didn’t have to and literally could’ve recommended just putting her down. She is laying across from me as I type this out and is doing amazing. Yesterday morning, less than 48 hours after surgery, she’s up walking around, although she was laying in our bed getting hand fed and cared for

Sick Pizza Company
33 N Washington St, OxfordOrdered carry out, cauliflower crust pizza with light sauce. Sadly, one bite and done. I’m not on here to bash them, I’m here to BRAG on them, their response will send me running back through the door, every time! I sent an email on how expensive pizzas are and my order was disappointing. Scott responded very quickly and was very apologetic. Did Scott refund my pizza? He stepped up! Not just my pizza was refunded, but the ENTIRE ORDER!!! I was shocked! First, to have a business care about customer satisfaction, is hard to find these days. Then refund all of my order, wow, that speaks volumes! Their quick reply, zero excuse and full refund is certainly top notch and “sick” on the customer service experience!
Much appreciated, Scott!

HomeGrown Brewing Company
28 N Washington St, OxfordOne of my favorite places to go to. The menu changes often enough to keep it interesting. The service is laid back, unpretentious, and just feel-good. Brews are ALWAYS good. Get a flight, you won't be disappointed. Food is always, always fantastic and fairly priced. I've been here maybe seven times now, and always enjoy going here. Grab a game off the shelves, kick back, and chill.
