“Busy place on a Saturday - have patience if you need assistance, and while they did not have what I came in for, they ultimately did have something that did work as a stop-gap solution until I could get what was really needed.”

“Fantastic customer service. Not a single store left in Grand Rapids like this. True to heart. Don’t shop anywhere else for your hardware needs. I’ll be coming here from now on. Support your local shops, not corporations.”

“HF is my prime source for tools that I need now and probably won't use regularly. Nobody beats them at this game. On the other hand, they won't replace DeWalt or Snap On for the professional contractor or auto technician. HF's niche is selling tools that work acceptably well at a very low price. They also sell some tools of moderate to moderately high quality. These, too, are value priced relative to their quality. On the downside, you'll typically pay extra for warranties beyond 90 days. But that doesn't matter if you'll only use the tool once, and especially if the price is so low you can buy it multiple times and still come in cheaper than the competition. HF prices often are that good. Definitely worth checking them out next time you NEED a tool to finish a job.”

“The staff here are incredibly helpful and kind. Every time I walk in, I know I'll be greeted and asked if I can be helped in any way. I usually get at least a laugh in during each visit. ? Overall, my experience is always pleasant. ?”

“Experienced an electric surge from lightning in September. This surge damaged Tv's, PC's and damaged the exterior antenna system. Then we discovered the water pump would not work. We called North Kent and within two hours Craig and his co-worker arrived. They went to work right away and discovered two-screw-in-fuses were bad in the electric disconnect. Changed them out and the pump was working. The team then examined other components of the well system to ensure they were OK. Replacing the pressure switch was OK'd due to its age. Fortunately the well was fine and we sure have great water pressure in the house now. Don't bother looking up any other company if you need well service, just call North Kent right way!”

“Is your typical Ace Hardware. Which for today standards is A-typical. The staff doesn't look like they're trying to avoid you. They're always friendly and able to direct you to your items. My hometown Ace is great. They can be a little more pricey on things but the convenience of not walking 3 miles around a warehouse to find items that should be stored together. Ace also has a rewards program. They don't have everything, but they usually have what you need.”

“Used to be a great place. They are so short handed that you can't get help finding anything. Better off going down the street. Heard one of the workers tell someone it would be 10 min before they could come back and help.”

“I have been a loyal Depot shopper for at least 25 years. I worked at one for over 3 years a while back as a Pro Desk Manager and Key Carrying manager. I know "my store" well, so I can find everything quickly without help, unless something is bulky or too heavy. I always "enjoy" my trips to the Depot!”
