“First, if you've never been to Trader Joe's just go... GO! Nuff said there.

This is a big and well-staffed TJs. Excellent selection of fresh and frozen foods. My favorites are the pre-made salads and frozen international foods.

Oh, and candy. Above the frozen foods rows of the most amazing selection of candy from around the world. ?”

“I love the deli case at the nice time market. They also have a great selection of ice cream from Bridgemans and local eggs. A lot of their seasonal produce is organic and much less expensive as supposed to the Co-op. Oh, and there made fresh sandwiches are delicious for lunch.”

“It’s an interesting find in the heart of Lyn Lake. Has been there for ages. There is mostly Greek food, from feta, olives, and other Greek items you can’t find in the city. There is a great selection of Slavic and Arabic groceries.”

“This is an excellent clean store. The area may be a little rough but the staff are friendly I feel safe. Cheap soft drinks and cool selection of interesting products. I would come again. Jay was the bomb and I'll come back again.”

“Adam's is the place to go. Every single night, my roommates and I haul over to Adam's for a sweet treat to end off the night. I genuinely sit and chat with Dennis and Carlos for hours on end. The momma cat had her kittens and they are cute as ever. Great place to boost your morale.”

“I love Aldi's! ? It is my closest grocery store, but I would still choose to go to Aldi's either way. The amount of groceries I can get with a small amount of funds; at Aldi's versus any other grocery store, (like Cub foods, especially Whole foods/Kowalski's, or co-ops) is an insane difference!
Bonus!
There's fresh & organic produce!
There's an aisle of seasonal stuff, & actually cool items, I've gotten last minute Christmas gifts!
The only downside you could possibly say about Aldi's, is the lines, but that can be anywhere”

“If you can find what you’re looking for on sale it’s probably worth it but alot of these prices are starting to just not make sense anymore. I realize it’s a convenience grocery store and that’s OK because it is convenient, but I just don’t buy everything from this spot as a lot of it’s quite unaffordable”

“I love it here, but I wish they had security. I get approached from behind by men at my car asking for something every single time I'm walking out, no exaggeration.”

“The bathrooms need attention, especially men's. Please improve and clean more often.

Parking: As mentioned, please clean the restrooms!

Kid-friendliness: Yes

Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible.”

“I ordered about a dozen cans of Hokey Pokey for client gifts in January. I ordered the cans over the phone and picked them up in person. The store was on the small side, but there was a great variety of candied and non-candied nuts. I bought a bag of Birthday Cake candied almonds and a bag of hazelnuts. The cans of Hokey Pokey were so cute- like paint cans. I didn't take a photo (sorry!) but the cans had handles and were plain white- the perfect canvas for our logo stickers. The service was great, the nuts were fresh and novel. The perfect local business gift!”

“So happy to have this locally, will be back! Too bad they don’t have a “store brand” for a budget shopper but otherwise I was pleased with the availability/variety”

“For about ten years now we have been coming from Eden Prairie to buy a few hard to find items (the big Asian Market in EP doesn't even have them). Also prefer to give Chan Market the business. Staff have always been super helpful. GREAT egg rolls for a bonus!”

“The Wedge is a fantastic place to shop, offering a wide selection of fresh, locally sourced, and sustainable organic foods. Their bulk section is filled with numerous organic options, making it easy to find what you need. I especially love their grass-fed beef and organic milk. The produce is always fresh, with plenty of organic choices available.”

“New ownership! (Previous owners retired, thanks to them for all of their work!). Employees are great and there’s plans to expand the produce and local products selection. Really helpful to have this market in our neighborhood and I’m so glad it’s staying a market. There’s so much more there than just candy and chips. A lot of pantry staples and items that are helpful when you’re not in the mood or out of time to go all the way to a bigger grocery store. Planning to shop here more to help support our neighborhood shops.”

“The smoked meats in the display in front of the butchers counter are unbelievably good, consistent and just a food coma level of good. The cheddar brats and all the brats! Yum! Rare cultural delicacies like head cheese (I haven’t seen it since my grandmas kitchen) The back frozen section next to the rear door has the best frozen comfort foods, packaged in house.. onion rings, corn dogs, jalapeño poppers. I used to live nearby this treasure of a grocery/deli, but now I drive there from miles away. Comfort and or potluck/party food go to.? y’all at Everett’s”

“It’s small, but it’s a Lunds.
Parking lot is small but it’s better than the Highland store with its terrible ramp. Entry and exit is normally not a problem”

“Great selection of produce and meats. A friend was lamenting one day about how they couldn't find fresh pearl onions. This co-op has them!

Lots of great snacks, bulk coffees for days, and friendly staff at checkout and behind their counters.”

“Fresh, local produce in what can be referred to as the food desert of North. The staff are nice. It can be a bit pricey, and sometimes things will be out of stock, but I am so glad to have them in the neighborhood. They also host events such as zumba, makers markets, and community outreach programs.”

“Love having this store within walking distance. I was surprised to see they even have cuy in the freezer! ?? ?? I opted not to buy that, but was happy with the items I DID purchase for supper tonight! ?”

“Good selection great prices Stafford's good at their job although I think the line was a little bit longer and maybe a poor person to jump on a lane at that time would have been beneficial”

“We usually go to the Nokomis branch but saw the main store last week when they had a special sale event. There's a huge selection of earth-friendly goods and staples there, all of what the smaller store has plus more. We chatted with the staff who were very friendly and offered advice about the beeswax wrap I bought to try out. I'd recommend either store to anyone concerned with the environment and sustainability. Yes, you'll pay a bit more but it's worth it to know you're doing your part for the planet.”

“I don’t usually write reviews but this place is awesome, super nice guys working there, I came in with my friend who’s a regular here and I’ll definitely come back. They have the biggest selection behind the counter, and they have my favorite kinds of sodas/drinks I can’t find anywhere else. Great area, conveniently located near mpls and nearby suburbs. So much better than your average chain convenience store.”

4.5 Superb74 Reviews

“It's better than most convenience stores and in a handy location. However for bigger trips you're going to get everything cheaper at the Aldi just down the street. Still nice to have the option right here!”

4.4 Superb48 Reviews

“The cheese selection alone warrants visiting, the produce is always seasonally appropriate and gorgeous; the bulk grains, herbs, and spices cover almost anything you could conceive of, to the best of knowledge.
Staff is also super friendly, knowledgeable about product, and consistently helpful”

“The deli is amazing and service is great. Great customer service. The cook is a great guy and is very nice. I love the food, it's a nice everyday stop and the cashiers are hilarious”

“I'm always a fan of Hy-Vee. I like the selection, I like the layout, I like the feel of the place. Some of my favorites are the dry goods availability, and the deli! Recently they switched from a restaurant style offering to more of a cafeteria. You can get your food of whatever style from the appropriate counter, and then take it and eat at a table, a bar, a booth. Plenty of options!”

“I think this place is great I should have given it five and I think I'll go make the change. That is five star. Prices are good selection is good and the service was good. Way to go solo grocery”

“Easy in and out. Had kosher. I'm not Jewish but I can't stand the way animals are harvested. In chicago kosher spot you could see your chicken walk before it was killed. They have kosher milk and dairy. I got the corned beef and pastrami. They got more wieners than Hebrew National”
