“What’s with all the 1-star reviews over masks. They were ridiculous then and they are still ridiculous now that we have even more data to show how arbitrary and unnecessary they and lockdowns were. I’m leaving a 5-star review because the products here are exceptional, which is what matters. And also to counteract some of the stupidity coming from mask reviews. Some in this country has lost their minds.”
“**Update:The manager Angie called me up and was very apologetic and friendly. A company who is willing to actually follow through and see why their customers are upset that’s pretty rare and awesome. She explained why their system did what it did and they’re working on it. Here’s your five stars back. **I’ve been to the store many times and I like it a lot.However I placed a large-ish delivery for the next day. 20’ flats that I didn’t have a trailer for. I got the order in before 2pm etc. a couple minutes later I get a confirmation email that says it will be a week later. I call them up they say they can still deliver the next day but the fee will be $150. Ok fine - paid it.They call me say they only have 25 and I needed 35 but they’ll deliver them for free when the additional 10 get in and said they would reverse my $150 deliver charge because it was their fault. Sweet!Here’s where I decided to leave a review.* They call again- and said they can’t deliver until 4 days from now.* if I want it tomorrow it will be $300.* and it will only be 25 of the 35 I needed.So my project was completely hosed.I just cancelled my order and I’ll try elsewhere. Be careful when you order on their website because their inventory is not live and you won’t find out until you call them.”
“Dale and his crew were knowledgeable and helpful- helped me determine the best electric mower and unpacked it and set it up and loaded it in my vehicle for me. Bought online only took two days to arrive, one day earlier than stated. Love the local service, instead of the big box hassle.”
“Plenty of parking, entrance to parking lot is kinda off set but not a problem. I like this store because the layout is mostly the same as the regular store. Clean and organized store, helpful staff. All in all highly recommend Harbor Freight and this location.”
“Really great local hardware store. Love that they've stayed in the area and hope they continue to be in the community. Customer service is good, prices are good, and they have specialty services I didn't even know existed.Needed to get 15 different storm windows built to fit in the frames missing windows. Was able to bring in the frames or existing windows that were an exact match to what I needed and they got it done quick and at a good price. Highly recommend to anyone in the area!”
“Walked in with a nondescript faucet part I needed to replace, after another store didn’t have it. The guy at the counter knew the brand and part right away and then suggested an additional part I might need, which ended up being the case. Love these smaller shops with experts who can get it right for you the first time!”
“Had a piece of glass for a china cabinet cut. It was a perfect fit.Had a door key cut for my car, works perfect, which was a pleasant surprise. I had tried to get one cut several times before. All had failed to work.They are my favorite hardware store.”

Yes, I go to the big-box stores, but when I need to be sure they'll have it, I visit Ace. Their hardware section is much more complete. When others are out of stock, I've found it here.”

“This is much like the old fashioned hardware store. The aisles are much closer together than a big box store. They are packing a huge amount of products and services into a smaller area. Their employees are very knowledgeable and helpful. The part I like best is that I can walk into the store with a bolt or screw and I can get help finding the exact match. Then I can just buy as many as I need, rather than a whole box.”
“I had a larger casement window installed and my contractors supplier was Hamel True Value Building Center. The window was installed correctly but during the cold spell last Winter an issue with the window performance occurred and a warranty claim was initiated by me.
Steve Theiste, the salesman worked with my contractor, window supplier, and me to resolve the issue and it was determined a new window would result. Steve had to keep up with me and all of the back and forth, and he ordered a new window. I was very impressed with his professionalism and patience as we worked through the warranty and recommend his expertise to anyone looking for new windows.”

He also helped us trim our remaining trees so that they would be healthier in the years to come. “I have a love/hate thing going on with this Home Depot. This has been my main Home Depot shopping location since 1999--15 years. I have a lot of experience at this place. So my credentials are good. I like the fact that this store is never super busy. So it's easy to get in & out. I also know where almost everything is located. Don't make any Special Orders or get any At Home Services unless you want to get screwed up and screwed over. It's also frequently hard to find someone for customer service. And when you DO find them, they don't know anything. On the other hand, there are a few employees who have been here for over 10 years and that are SUPER knowledgeable. I always try to find these people when I have a question. Of course, these are normal people that take breaks and that have days off--so I can't always find them when I really need them. Overall...good with limitations. Come here for what they do best: Buy what's on the shelves, and don't ask any questions or place any orders unless you want headaches. -Daddy Maxx Retro”

“Bought a laundry tub faucet online and tried to install it, but it did not fit the copper water lines which fit my current one. Tried to return it, but it was past the 90 day return period. Lowes refused to take a brand new item back as it was past the 90 days. No offer of store credit. All they would have had to do was give me store credit which would retain me as a customer and put the item back on the shelf. Given their refusal, I will never shop at Lowes again. Never believed it would not fit and should have known about the 90 return period, but stores who really want your business will do things to keep you as a customer. Not Lowes. Again, will never go back!!
Lowes responded, as you can see, and I called their customer service number. They changed the return time frame on this one item to one year. I went into Lowes and told them I tried to return the faucet and was told I could not. I showed them the review and that customer service changed the timeframe from 3 months to one year. They took my item back! I told them that they saved a customer and that I will be back to their store in the future. I will just be very careful about their return policy timeframe. Thank you Lowes for the your understanding and one time change on your return policy! The star rating went from 1 to 5.”
