The staff there have been much more personable and helpful than other post offices. As others have shared, Dottie rocks passport renewals! She carefully reviewed our applications today, stapled our checks to the appropriate spot on the form, and told me when and how to check on the progress of our renewal. Thank you Dottie!”

Have had a PO Box in this Manchester PO in all three of its locations...that goes back quite a few years. Original location was in the little building next to the Manchester ball park.”

“For 13 years, I have used the Town & Country Post Office actively, often asking to hold mail when on trips, without a single failure. In my experience throughout that time, the staff has been responsive, pleasant, and courteous. Only once in that time have I had the mail another address come here, and only once has a letter to me been sent to another address. So, I'm puzzled at serious negative experiences with this post office.”

“I had my wedding invites to mail out. The front desk lady was super friendly and helpful (so sorry I didn’t catch your name!). She let me know which stamps I needed for my invites and while this location didn’t have all the stamps I needed, she let me know which locations to check out to get the stamps. She was so helpful and helped relieve a good amount of stress I’d been having regarding the invites.”

“This post office location is the sorting facility for the 63122 zip code. You cannot conduct regular postal business here. You will need togo over to the retail store on Kirkwood Rd.You may need to visit this location if the post office is holding a package for you. When you arrive be prepared to ring the bell as the inner door is closed and locked.The postal worker there the day I visited was friendly and helpful.”

“I want to give a positive to this facility. I was expecting a delivery of an important item yesterday for my business. Tracking said my mailbox was unaccessible (even though I had received mail yesterday and today.) I went to the post office to inquire about it. The supervisor called me and said it may have been mis-delivered.. At 8:30 PM, my mail person (who I believe is new) showed up at my home with my item. I greatly appreciate the fact that my mail person would come back with my item on a Friday night at 8:30 PM. I understand they are changing things up here and mistakes happen, but this location and its personnel went out of their way to get my item to me. It's great to see people who still care. Thank you Shrewsbury USPS. You all are appreciated.”

“Yes, as other reviewers have said, the parking can be challenging. However, once you get inside, the service is above what you typically get at other city post offices. The staff is friendly and they move the line as quickly as they can. When it moves slow, from what I've seen, it's usually the customers fault for not being organized and prepared. An extra bonus, it's an older post office and I like seeing the historical details in the building.”

The only employee I could see was extremely masterful at line control and making sure we could all get out as efficiently as possible. She was really patient and nice while still authoritative, which I think worked excellently in a place where people just want to get in and out. There were regulars who called her Brenda.”
