“I want to give a Shout Out to a Postal Service employee that went out of her way to help solve a problem of my own making. Adrienne at the Walnut Grove, CA Branch was able to solve a very complex problem and went out of her way to keep me informed through the whole process. I'm not sure if she'll ever see this, but I hope her supervisor does, and let's her and her coworkers know that caring like this is noticed and appreciated. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

“I wish I knew her name - she helped show me how to use the self service kiosk for prepaid labels. She was so helpful and nice - I didn’t even know that thing existed and this isn’t my usual post office.”

“I've been going out of my way to avoid this PO. I reluctantly tried it again today. You guys DO take cash! The lady who helped me (glasses, been to Rome and Paris) was friendly and gave me advice on my next mailing too! Am I at the right one?? The post master got rid of the guy that refuses to take cash and talks bad about customers after they leave (like a line of people could solve his problems in life). Yay!! To me he was the Seinfeld soup Nazi guy because it was so uncomfortable being waited on by him. You never know if you'd get what you want or walk away in shame still with your package, confused about what just happened. Thanks for your great service today.”

“Wow-Ahmena is definitely the friendliest, most knowledgable staff member I've ever encountered at a USPS office. She's has assisted me several times. She should be teaching classes on how to provide a great customer experience. Every business needs more like her. Thank you!”

“Hooray to find a post office. Unexpected but convenient to pop in here, pick up ten post card stamps and be on my way in a jiffy. At 3:45 on a Monday evening, there was no queue and the clerk was actually pleasant. A nice surprise!

Of course, the stamps cost a fortune but that's a review for the USPS headquarters in Washington not here.

They do have a mailbox outside but you'll have to get out of your car to use it.”

“Visited at 11:15 on a Friday. No wait. The post office is small but brightly lit and well laid out. The woman at the desk was friendly and helpful. She may have been the only one working and I don’t know what her lunch break is, but I had a very smooth experience at the time I went. I recommend if you’re downtown.”

“I have recieved courteous & professional service from postal clerks, and on the other hand recieved service from rude, unprofessional clerks. This is the location assigned to my residence. So I enter with a smile my on my face, picing up and discarding tickets & receipts from previous customers. We must be the change we want to see...”

“I must post how pleased I am with this location. I’ve tried several others and had such poor experiences with the workers. Every time the staff here have been polite, personable, and take their time to help resolve an issue or further investigate something. They are observed to be patient and never rude!! They do their job without attitude and with competence. I will only come here. I appreciate them and hopefully they see this.”

“I recieved exceptional customer service from the representative Ranisha and the male manager on duty. Ranisha immediately greeted with a smile and helped me solve my package issue with a positive attitude. She was professional and knowledgeable. I will be returning to this location for all my postal needs. Thank you guys again for saving the day!”

“The employees here are very nice and friendly. But the building is crap. One summer it got so hot in there because the AC units were broke for several months. I don’t know how they survived in that triple digit heat. Also, the front door that you enter. It is extremely heavy and difficult to get open. Multiple times it is banged back on me almost knocking me over. It’s too bad USPS doesn’t own their own buildings. Because in this case the landlord would be a slumlord.”

“I frequently need to go to the post office to send packages international, which is a bit of a convoluted and painstaking process, and the service at this office never ceases to impress! I have to drive double the length to get here compared to my local post office, and it is so worth the drive. The workers are congenial, helpful, and have never been in a bad mood when I've been there. 10/10 post office that gets things done quick and you leave without feeling like you've been there since 3am!”

“The associate Heather was alone in the building when I got there, there was a long line but she got everyone through Quickly and efficiently. Excellent service, definitely deserves a raise.”

“These folks have been extremely helpful on several occasions when I needed to track down an international package. They have contacted sorting facilities, checked personally with mail carriers, and actually called me back when they said they would. People here have really gone out on a limb for me, which I never expected.”

“really good usps - i showed up 30 minutes after closing, expecting to use the self-serve but the lady cleaning the facility took my package and scanned it for me! she was really nice and a breath of fresh air compared to the usual disgruntled staff at these places.”

“I was lucky and went at a time when no one else was in line. I was served very quickly. I noticed there was only one person working at the counter. I don't know if any were in the back or if there was one person scheduled since it wasn't busy. Much better than when I usually go to the Post office!”

“Richard, Pam, Marcus and others are fantastic. Sorry, but Im bad on names, would ment others if I could remember names. We have used this branch for our P.O. Box and local delivery for over 14 years. Although we have had major issues lately with an address change. These issues are due to the system over all.*** Richard just spent over 40 minutes on the phone trying to solve our forwarding mail issues.***Marcus has been a great local carrier and Pam is always very nice and helpful. Others have done a great job as well. The post office as a whole has had issues over the past 4 years, but these people have been outstanding. Give them a break when you see them, the job is NOT easy.I spent several years as a subcontractor for USPS, it's not easy keeping people happy. If you ship packages with FedX chances are you'll have problems compared to USPS. UPS is pretty good though, but not up to the quality of service as the USPS.Thank you for all your service!!! Cheryl and I really appreciate it!”

“Excellent service. I only come here when there's an urgent matter, and I'm usually stressed out, but the gentleman at the counter is always very pleasant and patient.”

“Everyone expects everything all at once. Untitled citizens shouldnt have the freedom to express their feelings about a great service. I love our STL post office staff. I've never had an issue in my 8 years of using this location.”

“Not busy at all at 5:30pm on a Friday. The gentleman who helped me was great - he helped me with my money order and checked my passport application before I mailed it in.”

2.2 Poor104 Reviews

“People really dislike this office but I’ve found it incredibly helpful. The woman is kind and patient and always has a candy and smile for me. Yes she may be away from her desk when you walk in, but as the ONLY PERSON working there, of course she has other duties. People need to be patient and respectful if they expect others to do the same. Only thing I will note is they are not open Saturday so the hours on Google are incorrect.”

“an international shipment to me was misaddressed by the sender (wrong zip code). it's been bouncing around in the system for over a month now. i finally went in to this post office and everybody i've dealt with has been very friendly and helpful. we're all at the mercy of the computers to some extent, but it sounds like i'm going to have my package in a few days thanks to the people at this location.”

“Ray is such a good and kind worker. Tracy may come off a bit feisty but she is a total sweetheart once you realize that’s just how she comes off! Great USPS location (:”

“This post office location is the sorting facility for the 63122 zip code. You cannot conduct regular postal business here. You will need togo over to the retail store on Kirkwood Rd.You may need to visit this location if the post office is holding a package for you. When you arrive be prepared to ring the bell as the inner door is closed and locked. The postal worker there the day I visited was friendly and helpful.”

“The Associate who attended to me went above and beyond to help me get the best and cheapest mailing option to send a package to my nephew in the U.K. She explored different mailing methods and found that sending it as a Priority Mail - Flat Rate envelope was the best way to go. This proved to be much cheaper than sending it using my own box. She even gave me extra envelopes to take home for future use. I don't remember her name, but she is highly worthy of commendation!”

“Despite some of the comments, this USPS location has been pretty good to me. Every time I've gone, the people working there are helpful and get things done. Never had a problem with a package or anything. Just a heads-up, though: it gets packed during lunch and right after work, so try to swing by at a weird time if you can.”
