Thankfully, I had a positive experience with a very pleasant young woman at the counter. There was even someone in there laying new tile to spruce up the place. No complaints from me. “Richard, Pam, Marcus and others are fantastic. Sorry, but Im bad on names, would ment others if I could remember names.We have used this branch for our P.O. Box and local delivery for over 14 years. Although we have had major issues lately with an address change. These issues are due to the system over all.*** Richard just spent over 40 minutes on the phone trying to solve our forwarding mail issues.***Marcus has been a great local carrier and Pam is always very nice and helpful. Others have done a great job as well.The post office as a whole has had issues over the past 4 years, but these people have been outstanding. Give them a break when you see them, the job is NOT easy.I spent several years as a subcontractor for USPS, it's not easy keeping people happy. If you ship packages with FedX chances are you'll have problems compared to USPS. UPS is pretty good though, but not up to the quality of service as the USPS.Thank you for all your service!!! Cheryl and I really appreciate it!”

That being said, this is an old building (cool in its own way) that needs work in the entranceway, and I've had mixed experiences but overall positive with the staff. “Yes, as other reviewers have said, the parking can be challenging. However, once you get inside, the service is above what you typically get at other city post offices. The staff is friendly and they move the line as quickly as they can. When it moves slow, from what I've seen, it's usually the customers fault for not being organized and prepared. An extra bonus, it's an older post office and I like seeing the historical details in the building.”

“I've always had great and friendly service at this post office. it is small and efficient. always the same friendly man working and he is extremely personable even initiates conversation with my 5yr old. I've never had an issue with mail getting to destination. not sure why such bad reviews but I base mine on return visits, one visit anything could have happened and people and businesses deserve second chances.”
