“This is the second time we used Rising Sun and each final bill was less than we anticipated. When does THAT happen?! Last fall we took our Toyota Sienna in for scheduled high mileage maintenance. I thought we likely needed new water pump, spark plugs etc. Upon picking up the van the service tech noted our water pump already looked pretty new and we didn’t need one. (With 4 Toyotas over 150k miles each I guess I forgot which one needed what) They could have easily agreed with my request and charged me anyway with me none the wiser. They didn’t.
This year the same van blew a serpentine belt and we were told not to drive it in to the shop or risk more damage. We towed it in and were told it would be about $4100 to deal with the damage a broken serpentine belt can cause. That was a scary estimate but I checked with my brother who is a mechanic for Toyota in another state and he said that sounded absolutely right for what the probably damage would be to the AC compressor and condenser and the clean out of metal in the system.
When they were able to finally get in there and look at the issue fully they didn’t see any problems whatsoever with the vehicle. It was simply a bad belt. They replaced it and we were back on the road for $300. Again, they could have charged me what they said and I’d have never known. You just don’t run into honesty like this anymore. I would take my Toyotas there for the rest of my life if I weren’t moving. They are incredible. They are busy so there is sometimes a wait, but it’s worth it!”
“Rented a car for a few days from this place. The pick up and drop off were very smooth supported by excellent customer service. The price was much more reasonable compared to the airport. It is about 15 mins from the airport & has a shuttle service to pick up and drop from the airport which makes it convenient. Overall, highly recommended!

“After my last oil change, the tech told me I had a rear main seal leak that needed fixed ASAP. I took my car to Fosters, where they confirmed there was no leak–an older oil change was just done very sloppily. Fosters cleaned things up and sent me on my way for no charge. Extraordinary customer service! My family have been loyal Fosters customers for decades for precisely this reason. They are trustworthy, fair, and experienced. I would not take my car anywhere else!”

“Normally, I’m leery of anything that has the word lube after it, but I have to say this was a great experience. I called ahead and they said they could take me right away. Pulled in, didn’t have to get out of the car. Was greeted with an inspection of all exterior lights. They drained the used oil and replaced with new in 10 minutes. I thought it was a great value and they got me back on my schedule. There was no attempt to sell me on engine air filter or cabin air filter. I had just changed them anyway. Well done. I’ll be back.”

“I had such a great experience with Keyser Auto! I was originally quoted around $1,200 for the repair, but after taking a closer look at my car, they realized the issue was actually something different—and much less expensive. Instead of sticking with the original estimate, they were honest about what they found and ended up only charging me around $500.
My car is running great now, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. Their communication throughout the entire process was amazing, and I genuinely felt like they were looking out for me rather than just trying to make money off a repair.
