My car just crossed over the 100k mark so I wanted to have a trustworthy mechanic to get as much life out of my car as possible. I did some research and I got an oil change somewhere else at first and they gave me a pretty expensive quote after an inspection that I was a little dubious of.I wanted to get another opinion and my gf recommended I see Harold at GH Auto Repair. It turned out there were some things that needed replaced on my car, but the other company had those items priced much higher, and they also had additional things in the quote that weren't necessary.It's super refreshing to find an honest mechanic who does timely and very high quality work, especially in an industry that can be as shady as Automotive work. “This review is long overdue. I took my 2007 Saturn Vue to this location this last Spring, as it was having issues that weren't being resolved at another BP location. James was the first one to greet me (with a smile, nevertheless). He got my car right in for an inspection. They replaced shocks and struts,etc that had, just been replaced. I had my Vue back there two more times not long after that. Not because they weren't trying to fix the initial problems (which were covered by the warranty), but because that Vue was on its last legs. At any rate, GM, John C., explained what was happening with two of the cylinders and how that was affecting the performance of my car. He explained it perfectly. He didn't sugarcoat things, but told me what to expect. I also felt with Jim who does a great job of communicating what's going on! I believe it was Cameron who actually performed much of the work on my car - thank you! These men are an anomaly to what many people experience at other repair shops. Be kind, be honest, and we'll keep coming back to you! Thanks, guys!”
