“This is a hidden gem. I used to drop packages at the Albertson's on Flamingo and 215. Thank god I found this place. They are way faster and getting your packages out.”

“(most of the negative reviews I’m seeing are about the workers on route, not experiences in post office itself.) I use this post office only for shipping out things I sell online, and I have never had a bad experience or long wait at all. They’re polite and helpful. I actually go a few minutes farther than the USPS nearest to me (which is always packed, hour-long wait) just to use this one because it’s way less people here.”

“Reserved a PO Box online, went in to this post office to get the key. There was no lines to wait in, and was very easy to get the key to the box. Had to show two IDs and sign a form. Took all about five minutes. Everyone working at the time were very friendly too.”

“I wish they had one of those big drop boxes at the Martin Luther King location. So I don't have to go up to North Las Vegas to drop a package off after work. The newer post office is have a large drop box for large packages the older post offices have this little drop box for little packages. Nothing wider than 6 inches will fit into it . the newer post offices you can put a 2 foot by 2 foot box in the drop box. I seem to work the same hours as the post office and when I get off work and need to ship you guys are closed. Come on post office let's install a large drop box. These are packages. The shipping is worth $10 or $20 each. Not 49 cents you would pay for an envelope. What's wrong with waking up to lots of packages in the morning. If they're slow it might be because the government or I mean post office didn't install the correct boxes. All the shippers that pay a lot to ship big packages have to go to different post offices that have the correct box. Even worse go to UPS down the street less than a quarter mile away. Or FedEx up the street a half mile away”

“I've had a PO Box at this post office for over thirty years, including back when it was in the old building on Stewart Ave — now part of the Mob Museum. Over the decades, I've seen a lot of changes, but one thing that’s remained constant is the kindness and professionalism of the staff.

While longtime employees David, Sandra, and Nancy have recently retired (and are very much missed), the two ladies currently working there — including Pam, who I had a lovely conversation with today — have done a wonderful job of continuing the tradition of warm and friendly service.

The new building is a huge upgrade: it’s bright, clean, and modern. There's even a large parking garage now, offering great views of downtown Las Vegas. The small lot on the side is still available, and there's free 15-minute parking, which is great for quick visits. I don't know the new garage fees, but I parked there for free on a Saturday and made sure to be quick just in case.

Yes, the lines can get long sometimes — this location has always been a bit understaffed — but that’s not the fault of the employees, who truly do their best. They've consistently gone above and beyond to help with package questions, find the most cost-effective shipping methods, and patiently explain USPS procedures — even the frustrating ones like adding someone to a PO Box or dealing with price hikes.

I do a lot of shipping for second-hand Pampered Chef products, and I’ve found it super helpful to prep packages at home and print my own labels through PayPal. Still, whenever I need assistance, the staff has always been incredibly helpful.

I also really appreciate the small touches: the recycling bins in the lobby (perfect for tossing junk mail right away), and the fact that the lobby is open Saturday mornings. Limited weekday hours can be tricky, but I love that Google Maps will notify you if you're headed over during their lunch break — a really helpful tip!

A special shout-out to David, Nancy, and Sandra, who worked through intense summer heat when the AC was out, before operating out of a cramped trailer for nearly two years. They were real troopers, and I’m so glad to see the staff finally settled in a beautiful new space.

After all these years, I’m still proud to call this my post office. Thank you for decades of excellent service — and here's to many more.”

“We were mailing some boxes back home, this one customer was complaining about getting some elses mail. While I understand how irritating that could be, its not that post office workers fault. This lady was yelling and cursing saying she's not a f***ing mailbox. The employees kept their cool and and ignored the irate person. Kudos to them for bringing a little levity to the situation”

“I got down there on a Saturday, I thought it was going to be real busy. But it wasn't that bad. There's only five people ahead of me and they only had two people at the counters.”

2.2 Poor148 Reviews

“I do agree that the counter service is terrible. Every now and then, I receive torn packages. But!!!
I have had great delivery people on my route for the past 20 plus years.”

“I read the reviews prior to coming to this post office and the reviews scared me. But I had a great experience. The lady who service us was very pleasant and so helpful. She assisted with the box that would better fit what I was shipping and that helped me save money. The line moved quickly.”

“I came in with no idea how to apply correctly for my passport and went to two stores and was just going through it but TC was so wonderful and kind and was able to help me out by introducing me to Jeremias. Jeremias helped me expedite my passport and I cannot wait to receive it before holiday. Thank you both so much for looking out for the procrastinators and not - knowers. You made my experience so smooth at the end and I’m so happy I came to this location! They were so welcoming, happy & personable to every customer as well so give them the raise they deserve:) see you soon!!”

“Today 911 I received excellent service from 3 different people. I hardly ever get good service from the usps so today is a miracle. Each person was pleasant. I had to call usps twice before getting in and the hold times were lengthy but I made it to this location and completed what I had to do 2 mins before closing. Something has changed. Maybe the bad seeds are no longer employed.”

2 Poor232 Reviews

“Everytime I go to this specific location, I walk out content with the service. The lines sometimes are long and take long but that’s no one’s fault. Every where you go there’s a line even at the grocery store. I do think they need more parking. If it’s busy you might have to wait in your car until a spot opens.
Anyways, the employees have always treated me well. Customer service here is wonderful. I have to pick up my mail since I have it on “hold”
So I go here often and the customer service has been good. ?”

“Compared to other post offices, this one is great. I have been to it many times and have had similar experiences.
The outdoor drive-thru box to drop off mail is actually located on the side of the building and accessed via the side road.
The front of the building faces Pebble (the address of the post office).
There is plenty of free parking.
Once inside, the post office boxes are located to your right.
The self-service kiosk and free priority shipping boxes are located just ahead of you when you enter.
The day I used the kiosk for my pre-paid needs, the receipt printer was down but I was able to use the email receipt option. There was no one in line in front of me for the kiosk. I was able to process my parcels efficiently and without any issues.
The bin to deposit your parcels is located just to the left of the kiosk.
To the left of the front door is the main post office area where their friendly staff are at the counter to help people in the queue with their needs. The lobby itself is not that big nor do they have a large amount of counter space. Also located there are shipping supplies available for sale. It was decently stocked here.
There was a small queue of people waiting to be helped.
Overall, this location was very nice and very clean. I was surprised that at the time of day that I went to this location, it wasn't more crowded. Usually on Fridays, around mid-day (I went at 3:00 p.m.), it's much busier. You can always tell by how busy the parking lot is when you pull in.
The staff were very friendly.
There was plenty of free parking and the location's exterior is also very well-maintained.
Overall, a great experience at this location.”

“Never had a problem with this location. Every time I do any transaction here whether it’s money orders or shipping a package the staff are helpful. Lines can get long sometimes but expect that after all this is a Government office not a private sector.”

“Muna was an absolutely delightful. I’m giving the post office a 5 star review because of this fantastic ladies customer service! I lost my mailbox key and she was so helpful.
The USPS gets an OUCH $40 for the key. I then asked the cashier how many keys do I get for my $40 and at least I get 3 keys.

I am sure hoping that I just jinxed it into finding my key! I have 3 days to get a refund!”
