“I would have given 5 stars however there was a rather large “hiccup” at checkout for me so I have to let others know! Apparently National doesn’t do customer walk arounds the car for inspection damage purposes and they also don’t tell customers that piece of information nor do they tell customers they need to do their own. I therefore assumed the car walk around/damage inspection is done with each customer upon return of the car and notes:damage notes made etc. So my mistake to assume for sure, lesson learned! After getting the keys and taking off to my destination, once outside the dark parking garage I noticed a crack in the windshield in the lower right hand region. By this time I was already driving and couldn’t take any documentation/pictures etc. I thought to myself, they have to have made note of that prior to my renting. Again, I assumed and that is on me but they, not having told me they don’t do the walk arounds ever and not telling me I needed to, all on them. Upon returning the car there was some drama but it all eventually got worked out in my favor thankfully! Word to the wise, do your own walk around and take pictures!”

And our Hyundai Tucson proved to be reliable, fuel efficient and easy to drive. Our checkout went smoothly . Alfredo and Sergio are 2 of the friendliest and most professional Alamo agents I've ever met making sure we were happy with our car and Alamo. “I never thought I'd review a car rental agency. I mean it's always the same thing- check in, get your keys, get your car- next! Well not this time! We got the BEST customer service and care from Shalynn (I believe that's his name), who went above and beyond to make sure we were well informed of the vehicle we would be driving, and the area in general. We just recently switched renting from a different company to Enterprise and Shalynn's customer care ensured us we made the right move! We were kind of nervous of what the drive to Tahoe from Reno would be, you know is too winding, snowy, etc. He informed us that the car we chose had all weather tires, was AWD and took the time to share with us the weather forecast that was expected. He told us that the drive he normally takes has beautiful scenery and then gives the best advice- just take your time and enjoy the views, you should be fine. We did take our time, enjoyed the views and we were fine. Thank you Shalynn for taking the time to ensure we were at ease and thank you RNO Enterprise for having him on your team! Please forgive me if the name is incorrect or misspelled. We picked up our rental 2/12 at around 1pm.”

“We had fast, efficient service in our rental pick-up, paperwork and delivery. Un fortunately when we returned our car and were taken to the airport we did not complete the final paperwork. A week later we were notified with a claim for damages ( that we had no knowledge of). Initials on document acknowledging damages were a day after our departure. So, be diligent about paperwork and maybe even use photos at beginning and end if use.”

“Great service, very quick and efficient, the staff is friendly and professional. I did have a tire issue, didn't know that was common with this location, I did pay a fee for the tire repair but i think that comes with using the vehicle. It could happen in any vehicle, anywhere, and it only happen one time. Phone service for roadside help was quick and efficient. I rent from them all the time and i will continue to. Way better than going to the airport where they have extremely long lines and you have to go through a FBI background check.”

“All of the people I worked with were great. I rented a Jeep truck and it was a very nice truck. The only issue with it is at 6'1" it was hard for me to get in and out. The drivers seat doesn't go back far enough. So I rented it for one day and the next day I rented it again for one day. Plans Change? The two counter people I worked with were very good and helpful and took care of my needs and got me on the road quick. The two return guys were fast and got me out of there fast. The drop off is easy at the Reno airport. I will use them again. I never recommend companies to my friends because they may not have the good experience that I had. That's why they are still my friends.”

The gentleman who helped me at the front desk was friendly, gave me options of a brand new vehicle and explained everything nor was he pushy on extras. The only thing that was a little confusing and why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars was the drop off piece. They had so many people dropping off the cars and only one man reviewing the cars so I had to hunt him down and get his attention to give him the keys.”

“This team is incredible. Sr. Manager, Mercedes Atkinson was an absolute saint. I had my SUV stuck in 46" of snow in South Lake Tahoe at an Airbnb in the mountains. I showed up at the airport with my key and no car. Was trying to get home to catch a flight. I was worried the car would get impounded. Mercedes even offered to send her own employees up to the mountain - 1 & 1/2 hours away - to retrieve the car, instead of towing it.The service industry has already taken a hit with staffing, on top of the fact this was the worst blizzard Tahoe had experienced all year. Cars were getting towed and stuck in snow all over the area, and I'm sure they were under as much stress as I was. Mercedes went far from above and beyond to help me out any way she could. Sheer joy working with this company at this location. They have a lifelong fan. Thank you so much!”
