“I like Prime food market if I am not making a trip all the way to the Indian market. It has everything I need. Indian veggies, basics, groceries, snacks, and delicious food too, all in one place! I like their Samosa, Bombay sandwich and Dabeli the most! Must try! They have very good food as well. I have always been a fan of their dal tadka and palak paneer. Definitely recommend!”

“I have been coming to Metro Convenience grocery store at 280 Marin Blvd. in Jersey City for over 8 years and just about everyday. It is accessible and a cozy little shop that is well-organized and well-stocked. Owner Naim is a personable and appreciative man. The staff of Kishore who is an exemplary hard worker and very pleasant to patrons and also Khan who basically run the show. It brightens my day to shop there and I highly recommend Metro Convenience to all comers.”

“When I first started going in the store after I moved in the neighborhood, their sandwiches were DISGUSTING. They didn't give me what I ordered, the bacon was deep fried in old oil, very hasty with money.Since September, I found out that there's new people there running the store and I feel more comfortable with them. A little expensive now ( understandable bc of 2020's situation), but it's not bad at all.I recommend going when passing by!”

“The store is okay overall, everything is organized and it has a good amount of stuff for a corner store. If you need quick snacks they should be easy to find here. But the food they serve, is great!”

“Last night, while I was on my way to one of my friend’s parties, I decided to stop by this convenience store, and it turned out to be an excellent decision. I initially went in to purchase just a few items, but I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious, well-organized, and neatly maintained the store was. The clean layout and well-arranged shelves made it easy to find everything quickly, which is exactly what you expect from a good convenience store.

The store offers a wide variety of everyday household essentials, snacks, cold drinks, and beverages, making it a perfect spot for quick and hassle-free shopping. In addition to groceries, they also sell T-shirts and other small utility items, which can be extremely helpful when you need something at short notice. They even have a good selection of ice cream, making it a great place to grab a quick treat.

One thing that really stood out to me was that the store carries Indian grocery items as well. Although the selection is limited, it is very thoughtful and useful for the local community. The availability of fresh coffee along with mask buns was another highlight of my visit and added a warm, welcoming touch to the overall experience.

Beyond regular shopping, the convenience store provides several essential services that make daily life easier. They offer Western Union services, New Jersey Lottery, and an ATM for quick and easy cash withdrawals. Having all these services available in one place truly makes this store a reliable one-stop destination for many everyday needs.

Overall, this convenience store is clean, friendly, and extremely well-equipped. With its wide range of products, multiple utilities, and customer-focused services, it truly stands out as one of the best convenience stores in my friend’s neighborhood in Jersey City.”

“Great customer service always professional and kind.

However today I went to purchase a banana, it was a box of atleast 40 with black spots all over them.

The entire box had FLIES ALL OVER THEM. I told the gentleman at the counter . I ask him to call the owner and please throw the bananas out.

He did not throw the bananas away.”

“This is the gas station I have been going to now for years. It’s sad to see so many reviews that are bad. My years of experience now states otherwise. The workers are friendly and hardworking. They are very fast and come to your service right away. I would never want to do what they do either snow, rain or burning sun. Thank your service.”

“This place is a hidden gem! It offers a wide variety of Egyptian and Mediterranean dishes, along with a great selection of groceries and other fantastic items. You’ll also find all kinds of halal meats and traditional Egyptian foods. Don’t let the exterior fool you — it’s an incredible spot. Highly recommended”

“I used to live in this building. When I was 5, we were on the 3rd floor?? And then when I was 10-13, we were on the 1st floor. We called this the basement store lol. Where we'd get our snacks. LOVED those 25 cent juices. A little JUICE for 25 cents. Idk if they still have those things. And a bag of chips for another 25 cents. I remember the BIG thing of Hellman's mayo. The best mayo! Sandwiches from here were the best. I remember those $1 pickles too. And of course, there was A CAT! I remember the cat in there lol. Back in the day, all the kids would be outside playing or inside the building playing. We'd all hang out on the 5th floor usually. Smart phones and tablets didn't exist. The internet was just starting to get introduced to us, that's when I started playing neopets too.I remember hanging out in this girls apt on the 2nd floor. Her grandma had SO MANY DOLLS. Everywhere lol. It's like they were all looking at you too. We used to climb out on her fire escape and play UNO!I also remember playing video games in another kid's apt. It might have been the 4th or 5th floor. It was the 007 James Bond video game.I remember visiting another kid's apt on the 1st floor. They had an IGUANA!! I've been to MANY of the apartments in this building. There were a lot of Viets in this building too lol. And that elevator used to get stuck all the time!! LOL. And sometimes when you'd press the button, you'd get shocked!! From some random electric charge. Lmao. So you just had to be careful with the elevator as a whole lol. I remember this is where an older family friend gave me the VHS tape for the first 4 episodes of an anime in English dub, when I was 5. Living on the 3rd floor. So it was the 90s. Revolutionary Girl Utena. It was seemingly so innocent. The opening and ending music has been ingrained in me. It wasn't until I was a teenager and could search up on the internet the the rest of the storyline for that anime..... and THIS IS WHY ANIME IS SO GREAT. A lot of it is NOT for kids lol.”

“A really nice little deli and mini Mart by Hamilton park. You might not realize it from the exterior, but they do classic Boar's Head sandwiches as good as anyone (and at very reasonable prices). Plenty of snacks, drinks, and a few household necessities too”

He did eventually change it which is why Im giving 4 stars... please check to confirm the prices match before paying. Otherwise it's a good, clean store. v2y”

“Yvette, the pharmacist at the 88 Morgan location is the best. She is pleasant, nice, hardworking and goes above and beyond to help all the customers with their pharmacy needs. All the other staff members are also courteous and make me feel welcomed. Definitely, a better CVS location in the area.”

“I've come to enjoy CVS as a pharmacy, particularly since I had to abandon Wallgreens when they refused to fill abortion medication, even in states where it was legal. I Dont need abortion medication, but I will not do business with a company that endangers women's lives. Wallgreens succumbed to pressure from right wing groups. Now, as a customer of CVS I've discovered the benefits of their coupon program. I've saved a lot of money in different ways. As a member of the basic program I get emails with coupons that are very useful. They often have buy one get one free items, or buy one get a second one half price. In combination with 30% off the entire purchase coupon, the savings add up. I think I once got a $5 rebate in 5 years with Wallgreens. CVS also has self checkout which means I never have to wait in long lines like at Wallgreens.”

“I’ve been reading the comments and can’t stop laughing. I’ve been a customer at this store for over three years, and I can honestly say the staff is always friendly. I’ve never had any issues with pricing—if anything, it's better than other stores in the area. The store is always clean and organized, and they frequently update their products”

“A good spot if you’re looking for good cups of self serve coffee and lotto tickets. Some stuff is a bit pricey tho but the morning vibes are cool. I like that majority of the time they have Decaf coffee available too.”
