“This place is a model of what a small, local business should be. They’ve got a clear vision: biodynamic wines, staff who are constantly learning and growing their knowledge about grapes, regions, etc. They consistently hire cool people: friendly, helpful, interesting… and here’s the cherry on the ice cream sundae: the other day, we forgot a purchase in the store. We had mentioned that we were planning to sit in the nearby park. About 10 minutes after we sat down the store owner showed up saying “I think you forgot this!” Who does that? Man, that’s the way to run a business…”

“I've been going to Liquor City for many years. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I enjoy chatting with the ladies at the counter. The store is always clean and they always have what i need. The have a very large variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages . If you buy in bulk the workers are so kind to help you to your car with your purchases. I've tried other liquor stores, but Liquor City by far is the best. If you need help there is always someone there to help you find what you need. “The place in JC for (as the name might suggest) liquor. Liquors has all the regular stuff that a majority of folks are looking for on the daily, but they also have so much more. I’ve seen some hard to find whiskies here that I haven’t seen anywhere else in the region. Pricing on the rarer stuff can be a lil high, but when you’re the only one around that has it—who can blame you?
Hennessy is also the most delightful shop cat I’ve ever met, with emerald eyes that will melt your soul. Henny owns the whole block so be respectful.
Chinita (who is actually from Vietnam) is very nice and knowledgeable. She greets, gives people a hard time, and finds the spirits that people need. She’ll even give you the backstory on any of her top shelf collectibles. If you hang around Liquors long enough, you’ll realize Chinita is the glue that holds downtown JC together. Shout out to Manny too!”

“Absolutely love this store. There is a massive and diverse selection available - so you’ll find anything you need from wine to ciders to pre-mixed cocktails and more. The best part about it is the very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They even offered to chill my wine before I headed out!”
“This liquor store has a hidden gem in this shop whose name is FOMO MOMO. They have excellent, tasty Tandoor MOMOs which they serve with a delicious green chutney. I also tried their Soya chaap; those were also tasty, but they don't come in a red marinade. I felt the prices are above average, but the taste was very nice, like Indian food.
Street-side parking is a headache, as FOMO MOMO shop is very difficult to locate. Near the liquor shop, there is a small price menu board which I have added for everyone's reference.”
“Not many beer shops around from the Indian street and good to see this one . They have regular beer collections but don’t have much of IPA collections . Wish they had more hazy IPAs or New England IPA collections . Parking is tough. Priced ok. ?”
“They have good stuff and prices but lately they're always closed earlier than indicated (7-8 pm). They're missing out good business as they're the only wine store around for some people. There are ZERO wine stores in the neighborhood after 10 pm even on weekends. Hard to believe in a place like this.”

“This place is pretty good always stocked with many items and some stuff that is hard to find. The prices are good too on par with most of the liquor stores. Not much more to say. If your thirsty for some adult beverages its a nice spot to pick up. There is a dominos next to it too if u need to pick up some pizza. Lol.”
