Starter failed on our 2009 Nissan Armada while on vacation. It was replaced the same day! If you know where the starter is in this vehicle, you know that’s worth a 5 star review by itself!
David’s Star Automotive accurately and clearly quoted costs and there were no surprises. Payment options and warranties were clearly presented with no pressure! I highly recommend their services, and I would trust them with my vehicle repairs and maintenance.
Before the starter failed, I had noted one of my tires was a little low on air pressure. After picking up the vehicle, I stopped to put air in that tire but it was full! When I thanked the owner, he explained that was standard practice for them!
After we got home from vacation, we received a thank you card for choosing their service which includes a 10% off labor coupon!

“I don’t normally leave reviews but Vic’s Auto is my go to place. Chris (the owner) has repeatedly gone above and beyond to help me with my car. I definitely recommend them. I went to 4 different mechanics for a noise in my car, all 4 have charged me for something that didn’t fix the noise. I went to Vic’s and he was able to find the noise/issue and fixed it. He has done my inspection, brakes and rotors, and today he replaced a broken tail light for me when I received a “Fix It Ticket” even though they were incredibly busy. AMAZING MECHANIC :)”

But the service was amazing, came at 9:30, left at 10:05. Friendly lady at the desk. They clean the car before undercoating, which is probably expected but so you know if you had a doubt.
Price is not a surprise, it's as it was said and written in their desk.
I called early December and only had an appointment only early January, so don't be like me and call a lot earlier if you want it done in December.”

“Where do I even begin? If I could give Mohammed and the team at A1 Auto Repair 10 stars, I would. I broke down near the freeway late in the evening on Aug 25th, completely stranded and panicked. I called A1 Auto Repair, and even though they were technically closed, Mohammed answered.
He didn't just give me a quote; he gave me a lifeline. He connected me with a tow truck driver (shout out to Nerio, who is also a great guy) who towed me to the shop for a fair price. By the time I arrived, it was already past 7:00 PM, but Mohammed stayed.
He worked on my car until 9:30 PM, trying to diagnose the issue with the fuel pump. But here is where the story gets unbelievable. When I realized I couldn't afford an Uber back home, Mohammed and his son didn't hesitate. They drove me 60 miles to Niagara Falls and back to Buffalo, getting home themselves well past 10:30 PM. They went 60 miles out of their way just to make sure I was safe.
The next day, the issue turned out to be an electrical problem. Another shop tried to rip me off for $900, but Mohammed refused to let me get scammed. He called around to multiple mechanics for me until he found the right electrician. It turned out to be a rat that had chewed through a cable! Mohammed fixed the root cause, and the final price was sooo reasonable

i have been here several times now for various diagnostic/repairs. a couple of times they were able to get my car in and out sooner than expected. they may not always come across as friendly over the phone or in person, but not only might that change the more you interact with them over time (because it has for me), the things that might be more important to you in the moment-pricing, work, estimates of time needed to make the repairs-you know overall work ethic, for that they are usually more honest, fair, and accurate than not.
bottom line, this shop might not be great for your personality or your emotional needs, but there's a good chance they're gonna be great for you with respect to your car, your wallet, and your busy life. so maybe just call em or bring em your car by 0800 m-f.”

After a hit and run I had front end damage to my vehicle, and when I picked it up I was amazed at the quality of work and how they went above and beyond my expectations. My vehicle was clean and tidy, and they even pulled a nail from my rear tire and patched it for me! You can really tell how dedicated they are to their craft. “Took the 1989 Dodge Ram Van 250 in for overheating... had been advised previously by a shade tree mechanic that a thermostat was needing replacement. That was true, but the original radiator was calcified and rusted as well, so they located an OEM replacement and installed that too. A little pricey but cheaper than buying a new vehicle for sure. A+ service here too.”

“I bought a car and a week later it had a major problem they fixed it in about 3 hours. I had it back in the shop a week later for something really minor and they fixed that in less than an hour and had me out the door. Completely satisfied.
on today's date September 29th 2025, brought my car in for a diagnostic a complete fix for the problem next week! Again completely satisfied,... Had an issue with the same car covered by warranty had to bring it in in both December and January to completely fix the problem but both times they were super professional and got me out as soon as possible...

Lol, it's March 16th and I made an appointment a week ago to bring my car in to have it checked out,(there seems to be an ongoing issue), they had me ready to go out the door in a couple hours. And that was with a completely packed waiting area, Brandon handled my service and was excellent as was his work,. Mike g sat down with me and talk to me and made me feel welcome, an 11 on a scale of 1 to 10. Highest of compliments. I left with my car in great shape and a smile on my face”
“Stopped here a few weeks back after something started dragging under our brand new SUV while traveling south on 90 from Rochester to Pittsburgh. I was terrified because we had our 10 month old with us. Folks were SO kind and courteous.
