They have jewelry, paintings, candles, planters, brass figurines, and a cute baby section. The prices seemed very reasonable to me, you could get a nice ceramic bowl for $10-15.”

“Been here a handful of times and absolutely adore this place. The chocolate chip cookies with sea salt are life changing and worth the drive from anywhere in the capital region. They are crunchy while somehow still slightly gooey in the middle and balanced perfectly with quality salt.The shop is the perfect place to visit when seasons are changing and you want to redecorate the interior or exterior of your home. So many quality handmade items and my favorite cozy crewneck sweater proudly says Vischer Ferry General Store. It’s gone on every trip with me.I’m a nature enthusiast and visit the Vischer Ferry Nature Preserve often and it’s never a complete trip without stopping by here. Makes for the perfect day.”

“The soap here is bar non. Pun intended. I particularly get a lot of benefit from the pine tar soap. Clears up any dry skin, keeps my hair soft, and makes my tattoos sharper. I feel the prices are very fair, and if you store the soap properly and ration it, they will keep for a long time!”

“I, and other members of my family, have purchased furniture at Raymour and Flanigan. We have had no issues with salespeople's approach and certainly no attitude. The staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The selection of furniture is more than adequate. We are all very pleased with our purchases including couches, chairs and mattress. They are attractive pieces of furniture that hold up well. There have been no unusual or unexpected problems with delivery. ....Having read previous reviews here I would say that at least some are either coming from people who work at competitor's stores, like to write negative reviews for amusement or are determined to be difficult to please before they enter the store. ...I would and have recommended Raymour and Flanigan to family, friends and acquaintances.”

So I found an attendant to help me, and he also couldn't find it. Then he explained that they owned 2 stores and the inventory was merged together on their website, so more than likely, it was at the other store. Confusing and misleading to say the least.”

“I grew up near Troy, and after going to famous lunch one afternoon, I decided to drive some of side streets. I ended up parking car, and stumbled upon this place. Very clean on inside, friendly atmosphere, so I bought a few cool products.”
“I was not previously familiar with the Hatchet Hardware stores, and it was not obvious to me that this was (a new) one until I did a search online. There was no obvious sign for that - but plenty of ACE banners - except a letter-sized paper on the front door. The store is quite clean and very well laid out. I was greeted and asked if I needed assistance very shortly after entering the store. The selection of products in the store, ACE and otherwise, satisfies most of my home and garden needs. They're not the only ACE hardware store in my vicinity, and not the closest to me either, but it's great to have this store as another option, especially when I'm shopping in Colonie.”
