I don't know where to start an employee named Dakota is legitimately a rare breed, his customer service is top notch and he gets you in and out picking up and returning. I was charged extra last time for going over on mileage and vowed not to come back, but after coming in and talking to Dakota abt pricing he lead me in the right direction and what can I say I rented another truck lol, keep up the good work Dakota!!”

“I was in the Penfield Home Depot on Friday (8/7), looking for Flooring for my Condominium. While we weren’t quite sure what we wanted or how to go about installing, we had many questions. A very nice and knowledgeable young man named Devine took care of us and did an awesome job explaining the differences and showing us the different types. We took up quite a bit of his time and he was very patient with us. I would like to thank him for the awesome service and let his superiors know what an outstanding young man he is and that he did a great job helping us out.”

“This was our second time renting a van from you so we can haul our race stuff for local races on the west side of the Genesee River. We weren't sure how much easier it would make things than using our two cars and if it would be worth the additional expense, but it makes a huge difference. We've concluded we will do that for every race, so we'll see you for two more this year (another one in Greece and the final one in Spencerport) and will be back for 2024. “East Ridge is a great place to go for Uhaul I had issues with one on Lake Ave in Rochester but when I went to East Ridge I never had a problem. I got the best customer service there I would go back there if I ever need another Uhaul.”

“There was some water puddles in the back of the van. This did not affect what I was using it for, but might be an unwelcome surprise for others that were looking to have a drier more protected experience. The rental process was very quick both getting the van and returning the van. It has been a few years since I last rented a vehicle and when thinking back to previous years I was wondering a little that I was skipping steps and that something would turn up as a problem, but nothing has come up. Just waiting on the payment to post to my CC.”

“Wonderful service from Home Depot. Penske was good as well, help me get a truck at the last second. Penske has $150 deposit and plus they DO NOT accept anything but major credit cards. To put down just to get into the truck cost me over THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS!Ended up not using too much gas or mileage, total was 114. That included insurance as well.The deposit and refund took three days to get back. Penske employees on the phone never told me about the major credit cards and also did tell me the deposits would come back the day I returned the truck.The price was great after everything was done, would rent again. This time I know what to expect.”

“It can be hard to get a pickup truck when you want it as not all stores may have one available. You can reserve one only at the Henrietta store, otherwise it's first come, first served. I've had reservations canceled on me a couple of times, which is really annoying if you've lined up hired help for your job. Depending on which store you rent from, you may get an older or newer truck. It can be hit or miss. So far I've hired from the Greece, Irondequoit and Henrietta stores. Make sure you have your driver ID and insurance card with you when you go or they will not rent a truck or to you.”

“5 stars for your on site employees, 1 star for the company:I would recommend the location, only because your on site employees are great. They go above and beyond to make up for the incompetence of the company itself. My experience with the app was a joke. I supplied the company with my license, credit card, a selfie, I paid for the extra insurance, gave up my first born child, etc and you forced me to give you multiple references to call as I stood in your parking lot waiting. Not to mention the app was buggy and wouldn’t register my clicks making check in take 45+ minutes. Maybe have your executives attempt to rent a U-Haul one time so they can have a customer experience. Im glad we are in the age of record profits though!”
