Our boys, Diesel and Cooper, are energetic German Shorthairs, and Chris and Renee were incredible with them from the moment we arrived. They took the time to ask about each dog’s personality, likes, and quirks to make sure their stay would be as comfortable as possible. If you know GSPs, you know they’re Velcro dogs and a bit high-maintenance - so that attention to detail meant a lot.
Pickup was smooth, and I appreciated the updates about how the boys did during their stay. Both came home happy, well cared for, and major bonus - not smelling like a kennel.
A few helpful tips for fellow pet parents:
• Listen to Chris and Renee’s suggestions—they know their stuff.
• Bring an old dog bed you won’t mind losing, just in case your pup decides it’s a chew toy.
• Book early! This place fills up fast.
Diesel and Cooper will definitely be back! Highly recommend.

43 Baileys Gap Rd, HighlandBad Seed was always our favorite HV cidery. We fell in love with their cider and beautiful orchard when we used to live down the road. When we got engaged we immediately reached out to inquire about having our wedding there, fully expecting that it would be out of our budget. Instead, it was one of the most affordable options in the area so we immediately booked it! We are so so grateful for Devin and the incredible staff at Bad Seed, who went out of their way to make sure us and our guests had the best time. Everyone commented on how great the cider was, how beautiful the ceremony and reception space was, and how kind the bartenders were. It was the best day, and will forever be our favorite place to return to every time we visit family in the area. If you’re getting married in the Hudson Valley, look no further than Bad Seed, it has it all!

161 South St, HighlandDecided to go for dinner, simply because we never have a bad experience here, we were going for burgers, but both got ribeyes, and wings as an appetizer, wings were cooked to perfection, the ribeye was amazing, came with perfect mashed, and broccoli,carrots and green beans, that were so delicious, and to be able to outside and look at gunks while the leaves are changing, priceless, so happy to have such an amazing restraunt in my neighborhood,
