Center Ithaca is a mixed-use apartment building with 62 postmodern units in downtown Ithaca. It offers studios, lofts, one, and two-bedroom apartments with access to greenhouses, skylights, and patios. The location is connected to downtown shops and restaurants, with bus lines to Cornell University and Ithaca College. Residents find the apartments very good and a great value for the location, with awesome design. However, there is no guaranteed parking in the connected garage, which can be a problem. Non-urgent maintenance often requires multiple requests. The surrounding area, originally a high-end walking mall, is seen by some as becoming more rundown with low store occupancy. While the shops are unique, many were closed.
