West Kill Supply
602 Broadway Unit 2, KingstonYesterday we passed by this brewery and decided to go in. Inside the room is average size, what I didn't really like is that there is no design, it's just a boring room with tables. The bar counter was served by a nice and professional young Asian lady. My husband and I always try flights, here the flight consisted of 3 types of beer, the volume was not small, I still prefer when the flight is 5-6 types, but smaller in size, so I can choose a larger amount of future purchase. We sat outside, there were several large wooden tables with umbrellas. The territory was also simple, without design, looked a little unkempt. There was a music group preparing for a performance, but we left without having time to listen. I really like live music in such places. Of the 3 types of beer, I liked 2, my husband liked 1, we bought a type of beer to take with us that we had not tried and it turned out to be not bad. The prices are average.

First Capital Poké Bar
310 Wall St, KingstonI have a pretty insane poke bowl hyperfixation and First Capital Poke Bar is amazing every single time. I usually do a BYOB and it’s genuinely so delicious. My sister also has Celiac Disease and I highly suggest coming here if you can’t eat gluten, they categorize everything on their BYOB menu for that and there’s still many options for those who can’t eat gluten, which isn’t something you see a lot. I have a texture issue so I typically order crab sticks (not gf) instead of the chunks of fish. Not that the fish isn’t just as yummy but the texture really does bother me, if you have some similar issues i definitely would suggest trying the crab sticks or maybe shrimp tempura in your bowl if you can. I used to not be a huge poke fan because of the texture until I realized I could literally just change the protein and now I’m a fangirl.
For prices, poke in general is a more expensive meal, but i’d say First Capital Poke Bar is definitely worth it for the price. Looking from an outside perspective, $20+ for a bowl may seem expensive but for the quality and quantity I fully believe this is a well rounded price that is more than worth it to me! Especially as someone who has tried so many different poke restaurants, this is a very good place to visit and eat at!

Blue Mountain Bistro-to-Go
948 NY-28, KingstonI've cooked for the last 45 years. I worked in restaurants and some of NYC's most famous delis when i was a younger, so I know food pretty well. This is a great spot. Sandwiches are delicious, nice mix of ingredients, fresh, plentiful, staff is nice. Just ate there today, I missed the turkey club so much I was craving it. Also they have a good selection of things to pick up to snack on. I always stopo there on my way to my house in Woodstock.

Crazy Bowlz
301 Frank Sottile Blvd, KingstonI love Crazy Bowlz, they have a great selection, a wide variety of options, friendly staff, and good service. I feel that their ingredient's quality has declined a bit since 2020, and I miss how eco-friendly their containers, packaging, and such used to be, but by no means would I give them anything less than a 4 star review! I still visit here regularly, and will continue to do so!
