“I can’t say enough about the excellent customer service. I walked into the store on 5th Ave and was greeted by Janique who asked if she could help. I came prepared with warranty and broken part. Even before I took the part of the plastic bag, Janique had identified the vacuum it came from. Wow! She walked me to the back of the store and asked me to wait as she spoke to her manager, Jon. The next thing I knew she was coming toward me with the replacement part in hand…all this in 10 minutes!!!! I told Janique I would write a review on google. I just got home…but first…I vacuumed around the apt (whew! That feel good!)…and then I wrote this review. Deep gratitude to Janique, Jon, and Dyson!!!”

“The very definition of why we need small shops. Explanations of products and costs, above-and-beyond service, interactions with an actual human being.
I needed a quick replacement for my Mom’s AC. Charlie (co-owner of the store) took the time to walk me through both the models and service including all of the costs. He was able to get someone to install within a few days.
When the serviceman arrived and started the work, he realized that it was more complicated and time-consuming than originally planned. Instead of leaving/charging more/doing just enough, he took the time to do it right including making a couple of runs to a hardware store for extra supplies. Yes, this is how it should be but it seems this level of professionalism is in short supply.
And because of this wonderful experience, the least I can do is to give this gem of a store a 5-star rating - and encourage anyone needing an AC, vacuum, rug-cleaning or any small appliance to make Brooke’s your first and only stop.”
“My oven broke a day before Pesach . I didn’t even start cooking. I called AHC this morning and Sandy took care of everything. By 3pm today I have a gorgeous new oven with absolutely EASY from delivery to installation to now cooking

“Howard at Len Harris was great to work with. Knowledgeable and forthright. Helped me get the right ACs for a couple of rooms.
Their delivery and installation guys were equally as great. Removed the old units for haul away and installed the new ones in less than 30 minutes from when they rang the bell.
Brought their own tarps to protect the floors and their window installation is by far the best I’ve seen. Clean, professional looking and no gaps or light.
Truly the best experience I’ve had with new air conditioners.”

Competitive prices with frequent sales.
The shop is a bit crowded and packed, but the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Perfect place to check out gear in person before buying — much better than big chain stores for hands-on shopping in NYC.

“I took my Miele vacuum in to be looked at after it was making a loud noise - after it was inspected I got a call that it needed a new motor. It was ready within an hour and a half of taking it in. I was struck by not only the speed of which it was fixed but the care that was taken to explain the problem and how to avoid it happening again. I haven’t encountered this in the 30 years I have lived in NY. I will be a returning customer here for sure.”
