They got the company to give me a new door and for them to even pay for the installation. “During the pandemic it's been hard on all of us. If you're looking for am appliance you are truly at the mercy of some of the worst customer service high cost and delayed deliveries in New York. When my fridge stopped working I called around. The best I could get was high prices, 1 hour waits on the phone and "maybe it'll be there in February". I found shulem Feldman at S&W by calling all around. He answered calls and dealt with my questions. He was sympathetic to the problems I faced. 2 weeks later my fridge was there undamaged and working. Mind you it wasn't cheap but the other retailers were sketchy and incommunicado you'll do well with S&W. Ask for Shulem.”

“I’m so happy that I went to Expert Appliance Center for repair of my Miele vacuum cleaner which needed a replacement on the hose connection to the machine. Alex, the manager, found the part needed and screwed in the part. Just $49 for the part and I’m all set to go. It turns out that Expert and Desco, my former store now closed, were the first authorized dealers in NYC. That history shows when Alex knew how to fix it and had the replacement part in stock. Other places I called just said the machine was too old and I should buy a new one when this machine was in perfect condition. Alex was so knowledgeable and helpful. Experience counts! Thanks so much, Alex!”

“My husband and I stopped by here 2 days ago to get soil for plants. Upon entering the store, one can see this huge display of Halloween (creepy and fun) decorations on sale. Although the decorations caught our attention we didn't buy any. We browsed around the store to see if we needed anything else besides soil. I've purchased many things here including annual and perennial plants, organic soil, resin and clay planters, plastic and clay saucers, housekeeping items and more. They have reasonable prices for all of your gardening needs. Although the store closes at 8pm, it seems the garden center closes earlier. One of the store employees told me that last time we visited.”
