They picked up an antique cabinet I purchased from a nearby store, dismantled it carefully, packaged it with care, and shipped it to me in a timely manner. Glass doors were involved and they arrived fully intact. Plus they saved me a few hundred dollars in shipping costs compared to the quote I got from the seller. “Not from the area, but staying with a local friend for a couple months to enjoy the greater Rochester area. I sent some Amazon orders to our friend's home outside Avon, but transposed the house number. Tried to get things updated with Amazon, but wasn't possible. Found the PO local phone number and gave it a try. Spoke with Julie and explained the situation and my mistake.She advised that she was going to update the local USPS carrier and that they'd attempt to hold the parcels at the PO until I'm in the area and can pickup with state ID.Just got a voicemail from Julie that the parcel we thought was absolutely going back to the Amazon seller was still in Avon and they held it for me. I know folk complain about the government and its agencies... BUT there's NO WAY the commercial competitors of the USPS would have gone SO FAR ABOVE & BEYOND for a random customer.AWESOME customer service Julie and Avon USPS team!!! Thank you for being dedicated professionals!”

“I am completely baffled as to why this post office has negative reviews.This is the ONLY post office I will use. I ship very fragile items and the employees are always very careful with my packages. There is never a long wait and everyone is so friendly and helpful.”
“It was a great service. The woman there was reasonably fine, but the guy receiving packages aroind 4:00 PM was exceptionally kind and helpful.
Update (July, 2024): They have a awful communication among their organization.
Their Call Center told me that they were certain that at this location they could help me to copy some documents before sending them, and that the only location didn't have a way to assist with that were the ones inside another business.
So, I the first time I went just to waste my time. I had to go elsewhere for the copies, and come back later.”

“They were super helpful and nice. O ordered a Rent the Runway dress that needed to be returned. I accidntily put the UPS package in a mailbox. They were able tp retreive the package for me and allow my father to pick up that package and take it to UPS. Saved me a $50 late fee!”
