“Trader Joe's has quality food for a fraction of the cost you pay at other grocery stores. I am always amazed at what I can get for less than 120 dollars. I filled 3 bags. I love the cinnamon bread, salmon and produce. Parking can be tricky, but worth it. The people in the store are so friendly.”

Absolutely killer chimichangas! Very tasty! Super moist with cheese sauce and perfectly seasoned chicken!! The mix of sauce and cheese was a fantastic addition! Blows most local spots out the water!!”

“The reward program gives you coupons based on what you buy, and each quarter, you get a reward based on how much you spend. It's easy to clip the coupons and use them when checking out. The store has excellent cuts of meat and I prefer the meat here over market 32. The store can get busy, resulting in sale items not being in stock.”
“Nice, small shop directly across from Schalmont High School. I tried one of their breakfast sandwiches. (The nice lady made one for me right then and there.) The sandwich was pleasant, but the bacon was too chewy, so I tossed it out. Oh well... maybe I'll try ham the next time??? The store has a lot of other things to buy, spice rubs, other spices, creamed honeys, local maple syrup, prepared entrees, (even Keto ones!!!) Lots more for such a small place.
When I tell my girlfriend, I know that she will go crazy for the spices!!! Hope that they stay in the area a long time. See you soon!!!”
“I liked this small neighborhood store. They have some unusual groceries, and some of the more common things. Among the unusual things, they had New. Skete Nun's delicious cheesecakes!!! All that I know of is that the New Skete Nun's cheesecakes are very very expensive!! I couldn't find how much it would cost, so I have to go back there sometime. It would have been nice if the store sold them by the slice??? I bought some of the deli's chicken salad and a big slice of peach pie!!! Both were quite yummy!!! See you soon.”

“After spending an hour and a half going to 3 different market 32s for their lobster sale and coming up short, I headed over to Hanford after seeing they had the same sale. By the look of it, the seafood section was closing down so I asked a very kind worker if it was too late to get 2 steamed lobsters. He and his co worker went out of their way to help me and made my whole Memorial Day weekend! Thanks again for everything!”
“I visit here once or twice a week . Rose is a sweetheart, very sociable with customers, friendly and eager to help anyway she can. Everyone should visit, small store but clean. A variety of food goodies, coffe, tea, cigarettes ( reasonable price) and other snacks”
“Food and prices are literally a steal. I can believe all the great food I got for the price I paid. The if your going to the Albany location which has more options then the one in Hudson but expect long lines and only one cashier. Took forever to get out of there. Always bring a quarter as you have to pay for a cart when you arrive. You literally can't get a cart without a quarter.”

It was such a time saver this morning because it looked like the store was full and I got my order just after I parked my car! The associate that brought the bag out to me it was super friendly. “Look in like this gas station I have been going to it since I was a kid but today was something diffent. I go there to oay for gas for my mower and I stick my card in to pay and I take the nozzle out and I do my thing and pump the gas and stuff so then I put it back and stuff and I was going to pull my car up to go inside to pay for it but then a man comes out and starts harassing me to go pay for it. Like I worked in customer service and serving the people but this was so un called for and then I go in and as im outting my card in to lay the machine keeps malfunctioning and the guys not doing anything about it except staring at me. Like hello!!!! Help!!!!!!!!! But I finally paid for it and left, just, its sad to be harassed like that after going there for so long.”

“These guys are the best! A staple of colonie for over 20 years now and far too underrated, especially being right down the road from the mall! Best deli around and the fresh kaiser rolls are TO DIE FOR level softness baked to perfection every time just like their deserts(brownies, cookies, cakes, etc). And most importantly, you won't find nicer people anywhere, it's a family owned establishment and it is absolutely a lovely family.”

“I pulled a doozy and only packed just enough of my medication for my trip when I was unexpectedly stranded in NY for an extended period. The pharmacist at Hannaford was so helpful and filled my medications. She even helped me get them at a discounted price without having to file through my insurance since going through that process would have been extremely grueling with needing prior authorization, etc. I am so thankful for the grace given and help and understanding received since these are medications that are necessary to prevent seizures. We need more pharmacies like this. <3”

While the prices can be a bit high, I’ve never had any issues with the quality of products or the service. Overall, it’s a reliable store I can always count on”
“I live within walking distance of the Glenmont Price Chopper. It would be convenient if not for the stressful and disappointing shopping experience I consistently experience there. I find myself mentally preparing to coddle the deli staff to please cut cold cuts thin or to ask the meat department staff if they have something that I am looking for that doesn’t have a use by date that is the same as the day I am buying it. They make it clear that they are put out by anything that isn’t grab and go. The only exception is the produce staff. They have always been great but the quality of the produce is usually pretty poor.
The Delmar Hannaford experience is a luxury. Fresh meat and vegetables, personable, helpful staff and the deli counter is amazing!!! No 10-20 minute waits as the only customer at the PC counter while the employee moves at a pace that could only be intended to discourage you from asking for an additional thing. Every single time Hannaford’s staff is friendly, accommodating and professional. Hannaford does it right and their employees are always a pleasure!”
