1104 West Fort Macon Road, Atlantic BeachWe came to Atlantic Beach for my guys birthday and I was trying to find a nice restaurant to take him and we had a few recommendations for Table 9. It was the best place we could hope for. The food is outstanding! I had the scallops with grits and they were the best grits ever. David had the special which was the grouper and it was great as well. He also ordered Oysters Rockefeller. We ordered a Banana Cheesecake for dessert to go.
The vibe in there is not stuffy but still upscale. Amanda was our server and the service was excellent. I’m a big foodie so this was a very special night in a great establishment. I’ve also spent 20 years in hospitality so I highly recommend Table 9!

401 Money Island Drive, Atlantic BeachI wish I could give this place a higher review! Kayla was such an amazing bartender. I came to NC for my dad's funeral, and I was having a really hard day and she genuinely made me feel so good and had no idea what was going on. I am a picky. customer and would eat here a 1 million times. She actually had a really difficult customer next to us and handled him with such grace. I am in the service industry and was very impressed! We are coming back in late September and we will definitely dine here again..... while she's working.
Also, the food was delicious. There was four of us. All of us loved our meals, our drinks, and our service.
Highly recommend this restaurant.

Tipsy Turtle Tavern
407 Atlantic Beach Causeway B, Atlantic BeachI’ve stopped into The Tipsy Turtle a few times while vacationing with my family, and let me tell you: this is a real dive bar in the best possible way. Live music, cold drinks, colorful locals, and after a certain hour, enough college-kid chaos to make you wonder whether someone accidentally scheduled spring break inside a wildlife sanctuary.
But the absolute star of the show is Grace behind the bar. Grace doesn’t just have grace—Grace handles that place like a boss. I watched her manage a full-scale uprising of young adults trying to negotiate with state alcohol laws like the rules were merely opening suggestions. “Can you serve me?” “Can you overlook this?” “What if I explain it louder?” Grace’s response was essentially: No, the law is still the law, even when you’re wearing a backwards hat and have recently discovered vodka.
And honestly, that deserves a supreme shout-out. Grace stayed calm, professional, funny, and completely in control while everyone around her was making decisions their frontal lobes won’t fully understand until later. She protected the bar, followed the law, kept the drinks moving, and somehow maintained her sanity through the collegiate circus.
The Tipsy Turtle is fun, authentic, slightly unhinged, and exactly what a great dive bar should be. But Grace? Grace is the air-traffic controller keeping a runway full of drunk raccoons from colliding.
Five stars for the bar.
Ten stars for Grace handling it all—with grace.

208 West Drive, Atlantic BeachMy wife and I ate dinner here last night and had a great meal. I had the fresh catch, Red Snapper, and my wife had the vegetarian meal with curry. Both meals were wonderful !! My wife is a very picky eater and she said last night after our meal “ I have never had a bad meal here. Bahia is our favorite restaurant in the Atlantic Beach, Morehead City, Beaufort area. We sat on the porch to take advantage of the cooler weather after the storm.
