Beaufort Veterinary Hospital
8632, 288 State Rte 101, BeaufortThis isn’t where I had to put my little girl down, but I cannot thank Dr. Romano enough for giving my darlin a fighting chance. As pet owners we all make mistakes. We second guess what might be wrong. I felt absolutely terrible in how long my baby had potentially suffered. Dr. Romano reminded me that this kind of thing happens. I was recommended to her by a friend of mine. Her exam fees are affordable and they are open later than most vets.

Mill Whistle Brewing
1354 Lennoxville Rd, BeaufortWhat a gem! Tucked into a neighborhood just far enough off the main tourist area not to be overcrowded. Excellent beer. I had the kolsch and it was the best I’ve had this season. The locals hang here so you know it’s a great spot. Swing by and grab a cold one! Cheers

Fishtowne Brew House
133 B Turner St, BeaufortMy favorite local brewery primarily for the simple reason that they have the best beer in Carteret County. Casual, laid back, and easy place to hang out with a good selection of rotating brews.

Beaufort Grocery
117 Queen St, BeaufortThe atmosphere was very pleasant, and the service was excellent. Our waitress was professional, friendly, and highly knowledgeable. We began with drinks—Blackbeard's Baby Mama and Figging Delicious—both of which were delicious. For appetizers, we had the spinach dip and dried oysters, and they were outstanding. The main dishes were equally impressive. One downside was that the portions for the main courses were quite large, so we ended up ordering more food than we could finish. Overall, we spent over two hours enjoying what turned out to be an exceptional meal.

Beaufort Creamery
400 Front St # 2, BeaufortI saw a line as we were looking for a parking spot so we decided to give it a try. We weren’t disappointed. We ordered chocolate chip cookie dough, Reese’s peanut butter, cookie butter, cookie and cream and chocolate. The Reese’s and cookie butter were my favorites. It was all really good. Even thought it was cold, we really enjoyed it!

Turner Street Market
133A Turner St, BeaufortTurner Street Market catered our meeting that was held at the adjacent Vault Co-Working space and we were very impressed! The food was delivered at 7:30 for an 8:00 meeting, as requested, and the staff quickly setup the buffet in the common kitchen area adjacent to our meeting room. They provided breakfast meat (sausage, bacon), scrambled eggs, hashbrowns (delicious!), assorted bagels and cream cheese, and fresh fruit. They provided all of the utensils, napkins, plates and cups along with enough coffee (decaf and regular) for us to sip on our whole meeting! When our meeting ended, a team member came back to collect their dishes and the remaining serving pieces. A seamless experience and delicious food! Can't wait to dine in with them the next time I'm in town!

Black Sheep Beaufort
510 Front St STE 2, BeaufortAlways wanted to try Black Sheep in Beaufort and I’m so glad that I did. The place is right by the waterfront so it’s so perfect when the weather is nicer. I went yesterday and it was 40 degree with some strong winds ? we came around 6:15pm and got seated right away (just right before this place filled up). We ordered anchovy app and it was delis ?? cuban sandwich and loaded mac and cheese were amazing ✨ we ended our meal with cream brulee and it couldn’t have been more perfect ? thank you Thomas, our server for our great first experience here at Black Sheep! We’ll def come back and bring some more friends with us next time.

MOONRAKERS
326 Front St, BeaufortI came here with my dad back in October but finally getting around to leaving a review. The food and drinks were amazing and our table on the deck was perfect for sunset. My only complaint is that when my boyfriend called to make the reservation, he tried to surprise us with a round of drinks and and appetizer, but the host wouldn’t take his credit card over the phone and told him they would bring the drinks and app for us anyway but he couldn’t pay for it. I’ve worked in the service industry for nearly 20 years and this seems odd to me that they wouldn’t accommodate this request. We didn’t end up getting the drinks or apps so clearly there was a miscommunication, which is a bummer. But everything otherwise was great

34° North Restaurant
2440 Lennoxville Rd, BeaufortWe were super impressed with our first visit last night! Every single employee we interacted with- from the valet staff, to the host, the bartenders, and our server- were extremely friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Drinks to start were ‘Crazy Legs’ for me (pictured) and an Old fashioned for my husband. For dinner we split the Caesar salad, I got the shrimp and grits, and my husband got the short ribs. And for dessert the bourbon bread pudding. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend. We will be back!

Rhumbar
300 Front St, BeaufortWe were Mainers visiting Beauford in search of a dog friendly restaurant. Thankfully, we landed at Rhumbar. It is a wonderful waterfront restaurant with fabulous food and top-notch service. Our waitress, Jeannie, was terrific. She was friendly, efficient and ensured we had everything we needed to enjoy our lunch on the patio. Jeannie also offered our rescue pup Paco a large bowl of water and a cup full of treats. Our meal - a fried shrimp sandwich and the goat cheese beet salad with scallops - was delicious. The view of the water was lovely and everyone at the restaurant was helpful, including Shannon, the manager. Highly recommend Rhumbar for drinks, dinner or lunch. A welcoming eatery with great food and staff.
