“My 2019 Velar decided to conk out on me while attending an event in the Durham, NC. While I live in Charlotte, NC (2.5 hours away) I chose to have my car towed to Discovery Automotive based on their Google Reviews. The Velar was towed on a Sunday (while Discovery Automotive was closed). Tracy called me Monday after discovering my vehicle in their parking lot and the mechanic promptly started diagnosing the problem. My car needed a new alternator and was fixed within 2 days and I returned to Durham to pick it up the following weekend. Their customer service was great. They worked with my travel schedule to meet me for pickup on a day that they are normally closed. I am forever grateful. I would highly recommend this shop!”

“I came in for a free flat tire repair on my 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLE53 AMG Coupe and left with a $200+ bill because of careless workmanship. The technician failed to properly secure my OEM wheel center cap after reinstalling the wheel, and it fell off before I even made it home. On top of that, the service sheet called for 39PSI pressure, yet my vehicle was returned with 49 PSI, forcing me to turn around and come back. These are basic details that should never be missed.
The employees were friendly, but attitude alone isn’t enough. People trust you with expensive vehicles and expect the work to be done correctly. A “free” repair isn’t free when a lack of attention to detail ends up costing the customer hundreds of dollars. I didn’t even bother calling because no one was going to recover my lost center cap or reimburse me for the replacement.
This experience completely destroyed my confidence in this location. If you bring your vehicle here, inspect everything before you drive away—wheel caps, tire pressures, lug bolts, everything. I made the mistake of trusting the workmanship.
Update: Store manager Jeff was kind enough to help me resolve the issue by filing claim for the loss and getting me reimbursed. Thank You Jeff for your help.”

“I live in Reading PA, not many selections in this area of Audi Q7s so looking on the internet I found this dealer in Cary NC. I called the dealership they transferred me to Johnnie Richards in sales, he did not have the vehicle I had originally called for but wasted no time searching their vast inventory to find the perfect solution for us. We did all of the paperwork long distance to get everything started, Johnnie stayed in constant communication through email, text and videos. This past Friday we traveled to the Cary area, went to the Dealership Saturday morning, Johnnie met us at the door, treated us like royalty , even put a bow on it, got us in the car and on our way home to PA. Overall excellent experience with the entire deal, Johnnie is a superstar make sure to ask for him when you are looking for a deal on an Audi or a good used vehicle!!!!!
8/31/2026 Update, While the salesman was excellent , I don't have much to say for the after the sale experience. We closed the deal it took nearly a month for the dealer to payoff our trade so we were subject to the finance company emails and phone calls seeking payment, we also did not have complete copies of the deal paperwork, we emailed repeatedly to John in Finance that handled our deal, no response, we did get one response in reference to other finance company calling us, he said to go ahead and pay them.. Left VM for the GM, no call back, eventually the loan was paid. John did call us afterwards seeking more funds to pay tax on our deal that they miscalculated. Last week emailed John again, temp tag and registration expired last week, guess what.....NO RESPONSE. Car is parked waiting on tag we dont know when it is coming, emailed again today , probably will not get a response :-).

Sometimes there’s a wait but that’s everywhere! Go shop (so many places within walking distance) They’ll be ready when you’re done.
If they’re both in the bay just stick your head in there and get their attention.
If you need tires immediately then that’s on you for not properly planning unless it’s an emergency like what happened to me one day when I noticed a bubble coming on my sidewall so I went over to BJ’s tires (to make an appt since I was right there at bjs gas) and they replaced the tire right then and there!
Like I said. The 3 guys that work there have all 3 been there for at least the past few years and they work hard and at the same time do their jobs with customer service in mind.”
“Luke at front end & V the tech. were great. Stopped by Friday afternoon to drop vehicle off for a Saturday appointment only to have Luke say they might be able to knock it out Friday evening. Sure enough they completed the repair early and had car ready Friday at 6pm. Thanks Luke & V for taking care of the old Honda!”
