“Service was very quick during pickup and return. At check in, they adjusted my contract to a better rate based on my actual usage. And he found the hat I left inside before I left, saving me a return trip. Vehicle had low miles and ran great.”
“Wade’s UHaul service is excellent! They notified me in advance when the 17’ truck I reserved was unavailable due to this size being phased out of fleet and offered both 20’ and 15’, with no up charge for 20’, which I accepted. They also recommended and updated my reservation from 5:30pm to 6pm so I could return anytime that day without getting charged for a second rental period if returning after-hours, which of course I ended up needing and benefitting from. They were also friendly and kind!! Definitely recommend this location!! -Kevin T”

“I've rented U-Haul trucks from this neighborhood dealer for two different moves over the past several years and have had a great experience both times.
The trucks have been in good condition, and the pickup and drop-off process has always been easy and straightforward. Moving is stressful enough, so I really appreciate having a reliable place where renting and returning the truck doesn't add another complication.
After two positive experiences, I would definitely rent from this location again and recommend them to anyone in the Durham area!”

“I actually went to J & R Auto to get my truck inspected, all the Budget trucks make it easy to see from Hwy 70. In & out in 15 minutes. Our neighbor recommended them, and so do I!”
“Not sure if they read my initial review or if someone there realized they messed up and needed to do the right thing, but Brandy provided appropriate compensation for my trouble. She ordered the hitch and accessories for my SUV and schedule my appointment. Everything was installed yesterday. I have not used the hitch yet and not sure when I will so I hope it was done correctly. I have no reason to suspect it wasn't . All of this could have been avoided with a little communication. Thank you”

“I will definitely be using this business again. The employees are conscientious, polite, and very thoughtful. I initially reserved a truck for a move and was informed that none were available. Then about 30 minutes later, I received several phone calls and And messages that someone had turned in a truck and I could have it if I still needed it. They could’ve easily done nothing. And when I went to pick up the truck, everybody was wonderful. I can’t say enough about how pleased I was with the service. It may be a small business, but they go out of their way to be kind and helpful.”

“Malik was very professional and friendly in getting my brother and me through the check-in process. And when we had a mechanical problem with the truck's retractable ramp on the last day, he only charged us for one day instead of the three days we had the vehicle, which was beyond fair. A good experience! (note: though the website says 'near Food Lion', that was the store's old location. The corner of Fayetteville and Barbee is the new location).”

“Reserved 12’ truck. Truck is clean, I drove 500 miles without any concern. Truck backside shutter has lock holder. Easy to drive on any roads. 12’ truck has four wheels. Also reserved hand truck which made moving fast.”

If anyone has an issue with customer service, then why not use MOBILE CHECK OUT?! Think people. lol It's literally an option on the website.

Representatives Lauren and Allyssa went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of, even after someone failed to return their rental on time. Their professionalism and willingness to help did not go unnoticed, and we’re truly grateful. We also rent a storage unit at the Cornwallis location, and it’s always well-maintained. The property is clean, secure, and you can tell they genuinely care about their tenants. Highly recommend both locations!”
