Griffin Avian & Exotic Veterinary Hospital
2100 Ln St, Kannapoliswe had to bring our bearded dragon Sunni to Griffin to have him euthanized last Friday. The staff and doctor were absolutely amazing and so nice and caring. They never rushed us and allowed us to spend as much time with our boy as we wanted. They did everything with a heart of gold and such compassion. They explained everything as they did it and allowed us to ask any questions we had. I HIGHLY recommend this vet. Whether you live 5 mins down the road or a couple of hours away... this is the place to go for you exotic pets. Thank you so much for all the love you showed us and our sweet boy Sunni. ??

They helped me get him in (he was very large) they were so sympathetic and comforting. The staff were consoling. I was heartbroken, so heart broken that I couldn't speak through the tears. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Attitude, patience, understanding, empathy but most importantly knowing that your pet is a family member and doing a great job as a Vet!

From the checkered floors to the chrome stools and jukebox tunes, the whole place oozes small-town charm and classic diner vibes. It's the kind of spot where you half expect someone to slide a milkshake down the counter. Now, on to the food--which absolutely delivered. I went with a hotdog piled high with chili, slaw, and mustard, and it hit all the right notes. The chili was meaty and rich, the slaw cool and crunchy, and the mustard gave it just the right zing. Messy in the best way, and totally worth it. On the side, I had some fries and onion rings, both golden and crisp. The fries were simple and salty, exactly what you'd want with a burger or dog. But the onion rings? Thick, perfectly battered, and fried just right. Crunchy outside, sweet and soft inside--could've eaten a whole basket of those. My wife got the Cajun burger. Juicy patty with a nice spicy kick, melted cheese, and The Cajun seasoning brought a little fire without overpowering the flavor. Definitely one of those burgers that keeps you coming back for just one more bite. Between the friendly service, retro atmosphere, and feel-good comfort food, Park Road Soda Shop is the kind of place that makes you slow down, smile, and enjoy the moment. Whether you're swinging by for lunch or just craving a taste of the past, this spot's got you covered.

My children chose the moose tracks, I chose the yellow birthday cake (phenomenal!), daughter is dairy free so she got the raspberry sorbet, and my husband chose the coffee flavor. The portion sizes were great, I ordered the Birria burrito and there was a good amount of birria in it. I tried the pollo con crema and the chicken had a very roasted and rich flavor. Our server checked up on us often, the food didn't take too long. The decoration in the restaurant was vibrant, always had something different to look at lol. Very family friendly.
