The hand cut fries were extremely tasty and my steak sandwich was quite good as well! The service was super friendly! We will definitely be back and recommend you stop by as well!

We had the shrimp and grits in the morning and the pirate booty seafood platter. The grits was really good but wish the seafood platter had better cooked fish. But overall the food didn't disappoint at all. Loved the vibe here.

Most restaurants are jam packed by dinnertime, and you're probably better off just hitting the grocery store for a frozen pizza on the first night. But every now and then, you can find a gem. We tried another restaurant and we're told without a reservation we'd have to wait two hours for our big family if 13 to be seated. So we called Plaza Azteca on a whim and were told to come on over. We did and we're seated right away out on the enclosed patio, right in front of a big TV playing a World Cup match. Great service, amazing and authentic Mexican food, fantastic experience for all. The beer was cold, the tacos were flavorful, and we gt back to the oceanfront house fully satisfied and happy instead of grumpy and hungry. Three cheers for Plaza Azteca! You got our family's beach vacation off to a fantastic start.

milepost 6 2106, 2106 N Virginia Dare Trail, Kill Devil HillsBe prepared to wait as the restaurant isn’t huge and seating is limited. It was worth the wait. We hung out upstairs for a drink and walked over to the pier while we waited. The food was good, service was great, but parking can be tricky, we had just parked by their shop which we also stopped by while waiting to be seated. Would definitely be back, we really enjoyed the fresh flavor of the seafood!

Had the poke nachos duck Rangoon and fish tacos. Fresh and delicious all of it. I couldn’t taste duck in the Rangoon it it was delicious. Right on the BEACH. Wow. Good stuff
