The dr at martins point (as well as the techs) actually friggin listened to our journey and came up with a game plan with us without hitting the auto surgery button immediately. We feel heard … which is huge but also we feel we are in stellar competent hands that care about the dog and not bill-able minutes. We have many thousand invested in our dog’s health and we finally feel like we have a path to a solution. Soup to nuts they are the best i have ever seen and all three of my dogs will be moved to their care. Really grateful to have found them. We can finally chill out after two years of rinse and repeat with another local vet office. If you need a vet-go here. They are absolutely outstanding.

Coastal Animal Hospital
Mile Post 5, 3616 North Croatan Highway, Kitty HawkI was down on vacation and my old lab ended up with 2 large hot spots below ears, since he thought he was part fish, and called Coastal Animal hospital and they had us in and back home within an hour and a half. The entire team was amazing from the front desk, to the nurse and the Dr Rebecca got on the floor just loved on him and talked me through treatment. We felt like family. I would recommend them to anyone and if I didn't live 3 hours away this would be my go to clinic. Thank you all so much!!

3730 North Croatan Highway, Kitty HawkMy brother in law recommended this place, and he was right to do so! Our party of two was seated quickly. The food was even better than I thought it would be. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. The service was quite good, and the atmosphere was typical of a bar & grill, but it has a nice aesthetic and is clean.

TRIO Restaurant & Market
3708 North Croatan Highway, Kitty HawkMy mom and I went to Trio for the first time today. I got the blackened chicken pasta and she got the crab cakes. Absolute fine dining at its best. Waiter was amazing. The only thing I didn't like was the open concept seating as someone with anxiety. But I would highly recommend for anyone else.

You can tell a lot of love, care, and attention is put into the dish. And you can tell it's a sweet family operation. You can tell there's a lot of love in the space and in the food!

1209 Duck Road, DuckExpected more. The common complaint among our group of 8 adults was lack of seasoning, lack of flavor.The camel wings had an underlying saltiness, but not much flavor. The fried green tomatoes were bland. The only saving grace was the small amount of salty crumbled feta. Coleslaw not very flavorful. A minimal amount of tartar sauce on the fish sandwich. The server did do a great job, though..

Jimmy's Seafood Buffet
4117 North Croatan Highway, Kitty HawkWe had this place on our list of must try restaurants and finally got a chance to go. The food is fantastic, however rated as 4 stars because honestly ive had better. For the experience was a 5. There was a line waiting for them to open, on a Wednesday. The best day as they offer 12 different crab legs. Line was long but moved fast. Tight sitting spaces made me rank atmosphere a 4. I kept getting bumped into while sitting. The cost on Wednesdays is a bit high but the offerings are plentiful. Go hungry!
Crab legs of all types were great but not excellent, sword fish was amazing. Grouper was too. Several different style shrimp options but all kind of generic and nothing you cant get at a much cheaper place.
All in all, 4 stars. It was worth trying once. Too far of a drive for us compared to local seafood to say we will be back with any certainty.

4020 North Croatan Highway, Kitty HawkMy new favorite place for Sunday football. Hannah & Sarah are the best bartenders and servers on this barrier island. They hustle thier butts off on Sundays during a football crowd without compromising an ounce of attentiveness to thier patrons. Phenomenal service from these ladies! Food recommendations are the Brisket melt sandwich and the pork belly (when available). The pork belly was to die for.
