The collars I have from 2015 are just as beautiful and strong as my recently purchased. I machine wash, air dry, and we are good to go. I have gsd's, so you know they are rough on their collars. The store is more like a petting zoo from the rabbits and other small animals right inside the door to the open bird section.
The fish area is awesome and carries a crazy selection.
This is the only place I’ve been that you can watch a stingray, pufferfish, or axlotle eat worms out of the caretakers hand.
Definitely a one of a kind pet store experience.

She did a French poodle cut on him even though he is a Golden doodle. Short trim on him as he is being prepared for the hot summer that is coming soon. He looks so handsome and I wasn’t ready for the shorten haircut but I got used to it. Price was reasonable with a discounted rate . Bear is returning in 2 months for a follow up trim.

There's two things I would address as far as the complaints in the other reviews: 1.) They don't really use the phone much, so I had to swing by to get my appt set up (but after you have your first appt, she will give you her cell # and you can just text her for future appt's) 2.) Wait time. It takes longer than other groomers, but it appears to be because a) she's mostly working by herself and b) She puts lots of effort in & does a phenomenal job. As long as you don't mind the groom taking all day (we don't care at all) & you're willing to swing by to make the 1st appt, it's perfect and she does THE BEST job!! You will love it ?????

Acredale has been taking care of his health for the past ten years. Two weeks ago, due to his old age, pneumonia, and skin cancer, we visited the hospital. After an efficient and professional examination, Dr. Madison offered several treatment options, and we decided to bring him home and take medicine and keep conservative treatment. Unfortunately, he didn’t make it. I called to cancel Jasper's follow-up appointment and let them know we lost him. Today, I received a card from them—thank you for the comfort from Acredale! Once we get through the grief of losing Jasper, we will bring our new puppy back here! Absolutely!

I first came across obedient paws 6 or 7 years ago when I needed help training my blue nose pit duke. I was extremely nervous leaving my baby for the 2 week boarding school. When I first arrived and met Adam my nervous wall instantly came down. The in person on-site lessons make you involved and he takes the time to not just train your pup but also teaches you how too as well. After boarding school my duke came back a completely different "obedient " dog. And to this day 7 years later he still listens and follows the commands Adam taught him. We then recently decided to get another pit bull and I told my husband I wasn't taking our Shelby anywhere else but obedient paws. Just like duke, Shelby came home a well trained different dog. Im pretty sure she likes Adam more than me lol. At one point when I would come by she wouldn't even give me the time of day she was so focused on listening to Adam. My husband who wasn't a fan of paying for training was finally able to meet Adam during shelbys training and even agreed that he was happy we found him and how amazing he was. Adam has an incredible facility with ample indoor and outdoor space. He is super friendly and communicates often throughout the entire training period. I truly cannot recommend a better trainer than Adam and obedient paws. We are so thankful to have found him all those years ago and he will always be part of our pups lives and part of how they have grown to be such amazing loving trained dogs!!!

I opted to do private lessons with Dory in order to train them both at the same time. 2993 Seaboard Rd, Virginia BeachAfter our old doggie daycare recently closed, we tried out a couple of other locations before we discovered Holly Ridge and have been so happy and grateful to have found them. Our West Highland Terrier, Atlas, races up the stairs excitedly every time we drop him off. The amazing staff greets us and calls him by name.
If you follow them on Facebook you get to see your pup's adventures at the end of the day when they post all the dogs candidly playing together. It's become one of our favorite parts of dropping him off, seeing his smiling face with all his friends.
We would highly recommend them if you're looking for a daycare that will leave your pup exhausted and happy from a full day of playing and interaction.

I was looking for a space that felt less like a kennel with glass enclosures and more open, comfortable, and home-like where they could move around and feel at ease.
Kitty Island ended up being exactly that. It’s very clean inside, calm, and clearly designed with cats in mind. I booked the King’s Quarters since my cats are on different diets, and the connecting window between the rooms worked out perfectly. They could still see and interact with each other, but I didn’t have to worry about feeding.
The staff was great and easy to work with, and I appreciated getting photo updates during their stay. It helped seeing them relaxed and comfortable.
When I picked them up, both cats were calm, and my shy cat was noticeably more at ease than he’s ever been after boarding. That really stood out to me.
Overall, this just felt like the kind of environment I was originally hoping to find. I’ll definitely be bringing them back here if I need to board them again and would recommend it if you’re looking for a calmer, cat-only place.

1250 Fordham Dr, Virginia BeachGreat place!! The food is excellent and cooked just right. The tap selection included Guinness and Kilkenny cream ale which we enjoyed. They have a wide selection of custom drinks also including a Smores martini which was delicious! Great atmosphere with lots of classic rock posters. The music is classic rock also. Every food dish was excellent. On Tuesday nights the Fish and Chips are half priced and the fish is a huge well prepared haddock. Very tasty!! Good place to grab a bite just before watching a movie at the theater next door. You will not be disappointed!!

The smoky flavor of the fire grill enhanced the flavor of everything! Easily the best meal we’ve had in Virginia Beach, possibly on the east coast! The service was also great!

From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel so welcome with their warm, friendly, and attentive service. They genuinely care about every guest, and it really shows in the way they go above and beyond to make your experience special. The vegan doughnuts were perfect fluffy, flavorful, and not too sweet, just the right amount of sugar to make every bite delightful. I especially loved the chocolate rainbow sprinkles, Boston crème, and vanilla rainbow sprinkles doughnuts. The best part they’re completely vegan and allergen-free, including being free of nuts, so everyone can indulge worry free. Every bite was heavenly, and I couldn’t get enough! The atmosphere is just as amazing as the food cozy, charming, and full of positive energy. It’s the perfect place to relax, treat yourself, and enjoy a fun outing with friends. If I could give My Vegan Sweet Tooth a 100 percent score, I certainly would! It’s a true gem, and I can’t wait to come back to try everything else on the menu.

To this day that paw print box with her paw print and photo keep me grounded.

2413 London Bridge Rd, Virginia BeachI just adopted my dog last month and couldn't wait to take her here. We finally made it today and had such a great time! It was a beautiful day, the outside space with all the different seating options was so nice, and my dog enjoyed meeting new dogs and people. I enjoyed meeting new dogs and people! The food and drinks were really good and my dog enjoyed her chicken bites! It was nice to sit and chat with other dog people and just be able to meet new people and just be in such a positive and happy environment. I am so sad to hear Pups and Pints is closing this month. Just when I felt I found a perfect place for me and my dog to hang out. It is so sad. I really hope they can find another location and reopen. This is such a amazing place and so many of us and our dogs are going to miss it.

3040 Holland Rd, Virginia BeachGot to vaccine clinic early and waited for the check in. I received a call a few minutes later with questions and next received a text with my spot in line. Once they came and got my dog they brought him back until the test came through. Then they took him back for vaccine. The staff were all kind and helpful.

Hope for Life has a great mission and the staff and volunteers truly love the work that they do. I want to thank Nicole for being so patient and kind to us while we made the decision on adopting. We are absolutely in love with our rescued chihuahua mix. Thank you to all the workers at Hope for Life Rescue.
