Mrs. Bones Dog Collars
1517 B, Pleasure House Rd, Virginia BeachFantastic dog collar! Well made, beautiful and durable! I have been a long-time customer and have quite a few of these collars. The unique patterns and quality always stand out. There's always a compliment. Not only are they beautiful, they are durable. The quality is consistent. The collars I have from 2015 are just as beautiful and strong as my recently purchased. I machine wash, air dry, and we are good to go. I have gsd's, so you know they are rough on their collars. These collars have no problem keeping up! Plus, they are made in the USA. Ms. Bones, thank you for making such a stylish and tough collar!

4421 Virginia Beach Blvd, Virginia BeachI genuinely never write reviews, but I had such a great experience at PetSmart that I felt compelled to this time.
Courtney was absolutely amazing. She was incredibly helpful, patient, and actually took the time to walk me through everything without making me feel rushed. She ended up saving me around $100, which was obviously fantastic, but honestly, it was the customer service that really stood out to me.
That kind of genuine, helpful customer service feels so rare these days that I was honestly blown away. Courtney went above and beyond, and I really appreciate how much she helped my puppy and I. PetSmart, you have a great one with Courtney! 🐾

She didn’t like her nail trim much but the employees did such a great job loving on her to make her feel as comfortable as possible. The woman running the register was very kind too! Animal Vision Center of Virginia
520 Constitution Drive, Virginia BeachI was referred to animal vision center of Virginia by a technician at an emergency veterinary hospital when my 8-month-old puppy experienced complications from a prior surgery performed elsewhere. This occurred on a Sunday and the ophthalmologist immediately called in her team and met me at the Animal vision center in Virginia Beach. The facility is located in an 18th century historical building hidden in a subdivision just off Independence boulevard. I doubt anyone would find it unless they were looking for it. It is a beautiful facility that projects a very calm atmosphere that is relaxing to very frantic pet owners. The rather large clinic cat named Oliver even kept me company for a time while my puppy was being treated. The care my baby received was outstanding. They listened to my concerns and reassured me that my little one was going to be alright. They worked all afternoon on a Sunday providing the very best care my puppy could have possibly received. They made sure that he was recovering well before I took him home. They understood my baby's difficulty with eye drops and gave me all his medications in pill form. He lost an eye but is recovering well and is more comfortable than he has been at any time since the first surgery. I wish I'd gone to them first for animal vision care.

We are a little older and I was extremely nervous about getting an actual puppy.. but we got our girl from Hope for Life at 13 weeks old.. right away we called for training for ourselves. We wanted her to be the best version of herself. Wow has she exceeded our expectations with the guidance of Cheryl!!! We feel so much more confident with our ability to give her the best life.

Bisou always had fun and was always safe while working with the big dogs! I recommend this gym for all dogs in all training levels to the highest degree.

The Ruff House Stay & Play at Bayside
5201 Virginia Beach Boulevard, Virginia BeachFive stars, hands down. I've been bringing my dog Cali here for about four years now and they've never once let us down. The pricing is reasonable for the level of care you get, and the standard canine accommodations are genuinely well thought out, giving the dogs the freedom to move between indoor and outdoor space on their own rather than waiting around for staff to take them out.
Cali isn't the most easygoing girl when it comes to other dogs, so I was always a little hesitant about group playtime, but the team accommodates her with one-on-one attention instead, and she absolutely loves it. This last stay was 12 days, which is longer than we usually do, and when we picked her up she was in great spirits, hydrated, and clearly happy. That says a lot about the consistency of care here, especially over an extended stay.
The front desk staff are always warm and welcoming too. Highly recommend Ruff House to anyone in the Virginia Beach area looking for a kennel that actually treats dogs like individuals.

Canine Obedience Training at Hunt Club
501 Viking Drive Suite 2912, Virginia BeachAs a new dog owner, I was recommended Dory Hofman for obedience training for my Chihuahua. I am SO glad I did. From the beginning, you will see her love for dogs and her passion for training. Beginning day one, she was clear, concise, detail oriented with our training. (Her patience with me is constant.) She explains as she goes through our lessons; if I don’t get it the first time around, she makes certain I understand and helps me correct myself. Chi’s can be obstinate and difficult to train, but Micki responds well to her and is improving as we go. She is experienced with both large and small dogs and her understanding of both is amazing. She arrives on time, prepared, and gives you more bang for your buck than Petsmart, so do yourself a favor and call her. You will be satisfied.

His training allowed my dog to now be more free and I can confidently let him be outside off leash. Can not recommend him enough to anyone who wishes to help correct their dog's behavior or start off their training in the right direction!

Dogtopia of Town Center – Virginia Beach
4546 Columbus Street, Virginia BeachDogtopia Town Center is amazing due to the outstanding coaches on staff. In particular, my favorites are Chris, Mason, Bobbi, and Rob. Brooklyn has been going to Dogtopia since she was 5 months old she is now 3 yrs old. There is an authentic level of care that is undeniable. Initially I used to look at the web-cam all day, now I trust the team to take care of my fur baby and don't look at it at all unless she is staying overnight. Leaving her overnight was a big deal for me and Chris calmed my nerves ensuring she will be ok. I've left her for 12 days worry-free. Dogtopia administer medication and feed her to the specifications that I have at home which didn't have to be granted. My spoiled fur baby's wet food is warmed up..sorry not sorry lol. I've never met the owners, but with the exceptional coaches and front desk staff, I trust the care of my forever pup with no worries. Thank you for taking care of my Brooklyn Dogtopia!!!

Civil Libation Bistro
2135 General Booth Boulevard Suite 132, Virginia BeachWe came with high expectations after reading recent reviews but left with mixed emotions. The cocktail list was intriguing but the “spicy” tequila drink was more like OJ with a spicy rimmed glass. Our server came over timely but never offered the list of specials which was really disappointing after we heard another table hear them.
Kids meal pasta was overcooked, tuna nachos is with cooked tuna, not raw (didn’t realize that) but it was decent and the chicken sandwich is good but very messy. Must orders are the squash rings and sweet potato fries. Might try again during brunch time.
