Hannah & Destiny are two of the main groomers and they are phenomenal with our grumpy old man. Not to mention, they get the job done exactly to what our requests are. 507 E Main St Suite C, Elizabeth CityI had a meeting in Elizabeth City yesterday and had the absolute pleasure of discovering The Sweet Easy bakery on Main Street and omg, I am in love! The atmosphere is EVERYTHING. I have never been so entranced by a little hidden avenue of stores. It was like finding a Parisian back alley full of little couture stores. Absolute magic, I genuinely don't know how else to describe this place. You know how Harry Potter has to hit a few bricks to get to Diagon Alley? Well this felt like the same experience. It's a literal avenue of little shops, tucked indoors, behind a pizza shop front entrance. The SweetEasy offers coffee, Chai, and bakery items. It also had the cutest little corner library. I tried the Pot Of Gold, which was a butterscotch chai tea latte. Delicious. It was a great combo of flavors. Butterscotch was light but paired so well with the chai. Additionally I bought a lemon cupcake and 2 strawberry shortcake. The lemon cupcake was gigantic and had a delicious lemon icing on top and lemon filling in the center. I would recommend eating in two sittings as it can be a bit overwhelming in one go. The shortcakes were light, delicate and just a perfect summer treat with a whipped topping and strawberry filling in the center. Prices were fair, my chai was about $6 and the 3 pastries came to $13. This is on Main Street, so street parking is your best chance of getting close. There are several parking areas that offer 15-20 minute parking or 2 hour parking. 10/10 highly recommend checking this place out, if only to enjoy the vibe. I felt like I was back in New York for a moment, full of wonder. ❤️
