9440 NC-226A, MarionCasual mountain vibes and delicious food. We shared the smoked deviled eggs which leaned a little toward the sweet side, but were amazing nonetheless. My smoked trout BLT on a croissant was fantastic and the waffle fries were hot and crispy. My girlfriend loves her corned beef Reuben which she had on the best gluten free sandwich bread I've ever had. We let the waitress know that we had a celiac diner and she notified the kitchen so they could avoid cross contamination. So nice to find this place! Excellent experience and would definitely go again.

76 S Main St, MarionThe best ice cream I’ve ever had. Tried just about every flavor and you seriously can’t go wrong with any of them. My personal favorite was the raspberry lemon pie sherbet. Everything is made in house right down to the fresh fruit you can taste in the ice cream. The owner is wonderful and so are both employees I have met. If you’re looking for ice cream there is no other place to go!

63 S Main St, MarionAs I review, We begin to redefine what use to be your run of the milll reviewer.(local guide) It used to be more about old folks just chewing the fat or when someone is pissed about service or the lack of. Now with opinions coming from all who can church up a old knee slapper telling us DQ is ok for receptions. Well my knee slappers joined me at Bruce's. We all made it a point to order completely different dishes really helping me spread the tasting and sampling. Every time I tasted something I said that's the best thing I ever tasted until I tasted something else .The service was right on time but not smothering and the atmosphere was qui quainte yet conversational.

93 S Main St, MarionIf you are in Marion, definitely stop by this bar! The atmosphere and service and drinks were top notch! And they had a singer (first name Josh) that sounded like Luke Combs. Josh was great in his own sense. Bartenders made us feel right at home.

2070 Rutherford Rd, MarionCountryside is one of our favorite restaurants in Marion! We moved here last winter and every time we visit, the service is quick and the food is hot and fresh. We love that we never have to wait or ask for the check, they leave it every single time on the table so you can check out up front whenever you’re done eating. They always check on us when our food is delivered to make sure we have everything we need and often the servers are mind readers and bring a side of ranch and gravy when they deliver my chicken tenders & ask if I’d like either. I don’t have to ask them and wait for them to bring it to me. Not often do many restaurant do this so it stood out to me! I also love that they leave a pitcher of the beverage you order on the table so that if you’re engaging with friends or family, we can help ourselves to refills and they don’t have to worry about interrupting a party or neglecting them. As a couple who has spent years in hospitality and the service industry, we absolutely appreciate all of the thoughtfulness that goes into their day to day and will always keep coming back for the great food & service!
