Southern Animal Hospital
3938 Forest Oaks Ln, MebaneWe’ve been taking all of our cats and dogs here for several years now, and we absolutely love them. They are always responsive when we call and they've got them in when they needed it the most. The vets and vet techs are always nice and caring. They explain things so you can understand it and they take their time to answer your questions.
We only have cats now, which can be difficult (claws hurt, you know). They handle them with such care and are always so gentle, even when our cats aren’t so gentle back.
We always feel great taking them here. We know our pets are getting the best care around anytime they are there. Thank you Southern Animal Hospital for always treating us and our animals with respect and great care!!

2245 Turner Rd, MebaneOur Misu girl received so much love while she was here over the holidays! From the beginning when we first met Crystal and Ms. Doreen, we could tell they were real cat ladies. We just moved into Durham a few months ago and didn’t realize most owners had their cats reserved 3-4 months in advance before the holidays for the usual tall rooms. My husband and I were desperate due to flight plans (& we wanted a cat only kennel) and they squeezed our 9 month kitten into their lobby 1 month before. They made her (and us) feel such a VIC (very important cat)/VIP, we were so grateful she ended up as being their last minute office cat for the 7 days we were gone. They were very meticulous to make sure the doors were locked if she was outside of her kennel. Misu girl was so spoiled, received so many head pets (with bonus daily pics and/or videos), and we absolutely would not hesitate to bring her back to the Laid Back Cat next time we need to go out of town. They really treat your cat as if it was their own family member. Oh yeah, she loves the fuzzy white ball they gifted her for Christmas! THANK YOU!! /// FYI Crystal & Ms. Doreen do live on a separate building on the same property (which is awesome) & calling is the best mode of communication if you need to reach them.

107 N 7th St, MebaneI'm a local, let me get that out first. Have lived in this community for over 29 years, I love it here, seen a lot, didn't like a lot, seen a lot of room for improvement. Bright Penny is the type of improvement Mebane needs. Unfortunately as Mebane has grown the food industry is a little slow to catch up. This is a family food and beverage business that just happens to serve an amazing array of deviled eggs. Yes. But the real gem is their pizza. Just the right size to go with their great beverage selection. Plenty of outside venue and space. Secret: try the slushie after a really good beer. Thanks Bright Penny.

My partner and I are happy to drive 45 minutes to use this range over others that are closer. You cannot beat this place!

7601 US-70, MebaneMy wife and I have been there twice. The first visit I got Pollo Loco, it was delicious! The sauce was just the right blend. My wife got the fish tacos and enjoyed them also. The 2nd time I got the Chicken Pina Fajita meal with hot corn tortillas. Just as good as the previous meal! This time my wife got the Mexican hamburger. You would think a hamburger at a Mexican restaurant wouldn't be any good, but it was one of her favorites! Waitress was very kind both times.
